Only an insane company would come up with this design. Nothing would be wrong with the design if quality parts would have been used but GM never lets their customers down. This is a 3K repair and so NO thanks.

Next time leave the dash on the seats and just remove the hvac case. Don’t need another person to help you carry it out and possibly damage the dash/carrier. Or door panel. Or hurt your self.

So I think my 2016 Chevy 1500 is leaking in the same exact place. I have taken my expansion valve off a few time replaced the o rings on it even replaced the expansion valve with no luck I know it’s leaking in the area because I can spray soapy water around the plastic housing around the expansion valve and nothing but bubbles around the expansion valve.

Justin Siemiatkoski I dont think that the bubbles around the expansion valve is enough to determine that your chevy is the same leaking in this video. Front evap core leaking on Tahoe and yukon is not a common issue. Much better you check the 3 common A/c leaking tahoe and yukon. First a/c condenser, I have had a video on replacing A/c condenser and the video showing where is the leaking. Second AC discharge hose at compressor and the 3 is rear evap lower side, you can visually check at rear side near at exhaust pipe.

Use 10mm combination ratcheting wrench and then put a wire in the wrench. My hand is to small i can able to remove the bolt with out removing the manifold
