would this be r134a or r12 ? i got a 93 ls swapped with same compressor . put 134a but compressor acting wierd
@stevea6722 Жыл бұрын
What oil did you put in the compressor? Think the original 93 system was R12 with mineral oil, 134 will not carry the mineral oil to lubricate the compressor. I have done a few of these conversions (never a R4 compressor though) and always use ester oil as it is compatible with R12 and R134a, not a single problem. Replace the original accumulator with a new one, need one with XH-5 or XH-7 dessicant and remember to reduce the 134 refrigerant charge by 10 - 15% from the listed R12 charge weight. When changing o-rings to the HNBR type use mineral oil to lubricate them. Also, like Gavin did, always replace the orifice tube as it is the only filter in the system.

I have a 93, put a 6.0 with 4l80e bolt to np241c turns out my computer is remanufactured, doesn't have the proper pins 4 working the AC in stand alone situation, my factory ac lines work just fine, went with the sandon compressor and high mount bracket, does it make sense to go find a computer that can be altered to work and go to the tuner every time I make an improvement or change a tire size or gear size, so I'm going to order the Terminator X Max I just can't figure out how to get the air conditioner to work.
