I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a video before, but I feel compelled to say that I think you have a unique style and perspective that is differentiated from all the other woodworking content on KZbin. And it’s really wonderful. I watch a ton of woodworking content on here, and I look forward to your videos the most. hope you keep making more.

I was about to comment the same thing. Never have I been so compelled to let a creator know how inspirational their video was. From the craftsmanship of the piece, to the candor in the interviews, to the pacing of the video. Everything in this was absolutely wonderful and I wish you the best of luck brother.

Dude, I watched this morning while eating my breakfast sandwich. 19 minutes later I looked down and I was still holding my sandwich albeit a little bit cold. All that to say your video had me captivated the whole time. You are so eloquent with your words. Your idea about time being given instead of taken struck a chord. Thank you for that! Can’t wait to see the next one Ari!

This is gorgeous! I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're a fantastic creator and I really enjoy watching you just create. Exquisite craftsmanship on both the video and cabinet. I agree with you on things taking the time that it takes to complete a project to really make the product/piece you want to make. You can't rush things, slow is fast, trust the process.

I made my youngest daughter's bassinet from Ash. Like you, I like the natural color of ash. I found that the Osmo Polyx Effect does not change the color of the wood at all, and three years later, it has minimal yellowing.

Its not too late to also just go to the krenov school. Since you live in CA its surprisingly affordable. (although you do have to go live in fort brag for a year or two ). As someone who went there i think it would provide a unique opportunity to hone your own personal style as you improve your skills)

Hey! Loved this video and amazing work on the cabinet. I noticed you and a lot of your coworkers are wearing airpods in the shop. I wear airpods in my shop also and have heard a lot of mixed opinions on if they really help with ear protection from shop noises (tools, dust collection, etc). Any thoughts on if they're enough? Any of your mentors have opinions or facts on that? Thanks and keep up the great content.

Just out of curiosity, how much of the time spent would you say was planning/thinking/hesitating/contemplating etc.? I remember in my school years (to become a furniture maker) I had such a hard time getting to the making because of a fear of making a bad choice, leading to projects easily taking 5 times as long as they could have.

Its a nice cabinet. I think the proportions are off slightly. The doors seem too thick for the cabinets length. Your craftsman’s ship is very good.
