I am a middle school girl in Korea. I took a summer camp class in Vancouver, Canada for 40 days last summer vacation. And I took a summer camp class at UBC for two weeks. It's been 9 months since I came to Korea, but when I think of Canada, I still miss Canada and I still cry. And after watching this video, I miss my Canadians so much, and I feel so sorry that I didn't get their emails on the last day. UBC is a very beautiful university and university that contains almost all the memories of my 40 days in Canada. Also, I hope to go to UBC University in the future. The reason why I'm studying for more than five hours every day at the academy is because I want to work for the UN later and eventually become the WHO Secretary-General, but one of the reasons is to go back to Canada. I hope many of you who read this article will support my dream. Thank you.

Hafu Guo , no sir. I was reading the UBC’s Faculty of Arts website and it saids that post secondary applicants admitted based on the basis of academic performance. I am trying to learn as much as I can from the UBC students like you and Lina and learn if you guys have encountered students who have transferred from other post-secondary universities. Besides its beautiful campus, UBC BA program allows their students to minor in Commerce. U of A however don’t allow us to minor in Business so I’m seeking of transferring to UBC. I want to become a Business Economist and after talking to my ECON profs, I learned that best way to learn Business is by having a strong knowledge in fundamentals of business, and by having a professional business experience. That’s why I am seeking Commerce minor.

I'm at UBC right now, honestly the only thing that got me in were my grades. Anything else doesn't matter, of course you'll want to do other things if you're shooting for scholarships but good grades = ubc

Hello, I have a question. I expect someone who REALLY knows the answer to respond to this question. Does UBC compare our IELTS scores? Or they just check if you understand the language with a minimum of 6.5? I got 6.5 and I wanna know if I have to take the exam again in order to increase my chances of getting into UBC. I read somewhere that 6.5 is ENOUGH since I have a good understanding of the language. Is it impossible to apply to the university with +90% scores in Chemistry, Geometry and etc, but a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS?
