These sequels were definitely helped by the fact they somehow got Kakarot's voice actor from Dragonball Z to come in to voice Fender. Sean Schemmel. Video Brinquedo drags in the Sonic voice crew, Sparkplug drags in the DBZ crew.

I'm surpisingly happy that the sequels began to gradually improve. Sparky gained common sense, Norbert and Speedy got love interests, Gracie got new skills and Diesel began to reform. I wasn't too fond of the fourth one, but it's nice to see the positive changes.

I have to give credit where it’s due. It seems like they genuinely made an effort to improve on the first Car’s Life when they could’ve just not given a shit. These sequels look a lot better and I actually kinda like them unironically. Not saying they’re flawless (they are far from that), but for movies that were apparently made just to capitalize off of PIXAR’s Cars franchise, they’re not bad for what they are.
