It looks like you began your journey in Mkwakwani Rd?? Amazing, in Street No. 5 at 7.22 on the left you see a brown 2-storey building which was built c1955 and was a good clinic run by Dr Krishna, Dr Mrs Satiya Krishna and her brother Dr Sood. A few seconds later at 7.39 still on the left was our family home from 1952. Opposite it the blue house belonged to a wealthy Arab Swahili trader who had a nice car parked in front. Next to him was a tin smith. Up to 8.40 it is unchanged from the 1950's. All houses were occupied by Asians, some well to do and others not. Tanga Cinema was in Street 12, I believe. On Taifa road near the railway station was the Novelty Cinema. Further up in Tangamano grounds once a "wall of death" artiste performed c1956. All good memories. Thanks for making my day. I am from UK. Left Tanga in 1959.

Left Tanga in 1974. Would love it if you can video a walk around the Ismaili Jamatkhana, Old Aga Khan Flats (we lived at #36 ) and Darajani Primary School. Thanks for the Raskazone video

How beautiful is that city , I'm not Tanzanian but African from west living in actually in australia 🇦🇺 after been living in Portugal, Spain, Ireland, UK, Germany, Denmark and Sweden, I just want know if African like me could retire in this place call tanga, I watch lot of videos from Tanzania , Uganda and Kenya, but this is the city I like , I just want to know if someone like me is welcome to this city, I have email the Tanzanian embassy in Tokyo to request about moving and buy small house to retire in Tanzania but they email me back saying foreigner couldn't own property or land in Tanzania, even to live and retire they don't have that kind of visa, all my hope is going down... I'm so sad because I'm really love Tanzania 🇹🇿 and tanga is my favorite city

You turned on 4th Barbara suddenly to the left. I lived on the right side in J.M.Shah building behind the trucks. I had laid the foundation stone for that building which was sold in the mid sixties. I wish you had shown it to the right and mobbed on the same st.
