I think God sometimes sends an angel to us when He thinks He wants to, but God also helps us himself or just quite indirectly, but he probably doesn’t have a angel appointed to every single one of us, that takes our focus off of Him, and you’d better not treat your angel, whether us Christians all have one or not, as a alternative to Jesus. Thinking of fellow Christians, saints, we are all saints, as alternatives to God, is horrible! Do not pray to something that doesn’t answer you, for only GOD can answer you! ❤ ✝️ :) P.S. Mary being a virgin doesn’t make her sinless or above us fellow Christians, oh brethren, and praying to her is idolatry. So what, the prophets told us Jesus would be born of a virgin and of a son of David, but, nothing important was ever said of Mary or any other believer in the Bible, for we have all sinned and are equal under God’s constitution, the Commandments. Turn to God only, through reading the Bible and understanding Him, and you will not turn away from Him. I forgive you for going against God, and He does too, but as long as you follow Christ you will go to heaven, and then the new earth.

Once I wanted to cross the road,I was in rush and I just didn't see a car coming. At the middle of the road something stopped me and made my face turn toward the direction of the car which was just only few meters distance from me. One time when I was a kid I ran across the road & got hit really hard.. My head smashed his headlight & I rolled up the road about 8 times.. I just got up & ran off. I wasn't even hurt one little bit. It was like something protected me. The man that hit me knocked on my mum door and said I just hit your kid, I said no it wasn't me.. he said yes it was and he just see me run indoors here lol.. I've known my angel my whole life. She's helped me through the worst parts of living with diabetes and other physical and emotional issues. After losing my faith and belief, I couldn't feel her anymore, and that was the loneliest I've ever felt. Since coming back to Jesus and Mary, I'm beginning to feel her presence again. For me, Guardian Angels are a gift from God to be thankful for😊

Yes. I realize that angels are genderless, but I've always felt my angel was a she. It's difficult to explain and understand if you don't have a relationship with or don't believe in guardian angels. Others who tell me about their angels, like me, refer to them as she/he depending on that person's gender.

I actually talked to an old man once who is really deep in the faith and he shared with me how he had a dream in which his holy guardian angel appeared as a beautiful woman in white robes. I think we get our angels depending even on our personality, that is just my opinion and not the truth but I wondered if God maybe put a specific angel to guard me because of my temper, flaws etc. to help me more in certain areas in my life than others etc. I overthink sometimes but yeah 😅

@_celestin_ I've always felt my angel was a comforting and wiser version of myself. I've known her since I became sentient. I had horrible separation anxiety as a child. Whenever it overwhelmed me, I would feel as though someone was comforting me, and everything would be fine. Idk what to tell others when asked how to get to know your angel bc mine was always there.

I lost my rosary while I was visiting a relative. I turned the room upside down looking for it, and I was leaving for home in minutes, and was very frustrated that I couldn't find it. I asked my Guardian angel to help me find it before I left. As I was walking out of the room to leave, I turned and headed straight for the bed rail on the opposite side of the bed from where I was sleeping. It was lodged in the crevice between the mattress and the rail. I was stunned. Needless to say, I thanked my Guardian angel and headed out the door for the long drive home.

The priest we had 5 yrs ago never used an alarm clock. He always asked his guardian angel to wake him up, even when he was going to Spain for the holidays and he had to get up at an ungodly hour. I also believe there are angels that still pray at religious ruins and holy places....someone said they saw myriads of angels at a bus stop because it used to be a place of worship a long time ago.

😇I love my guardian angels. I walk and talk to them in prayer like a friend. Yes, I ask them to wake me up in the morning and I feel their loving presence, guiding me and protecting me, consoling me. During daily Mass they are there. Whenever I go to receive the Sacrament of Penance and Holy Eucharist they are there, and even during Spiritual Holy Communion, they are with me. @@JohnSmith-uy7sv I believe if you read the first English from Greek version of the Bible, Douay Rheims Bible, you’ll learn much. If that doesn’t interest you, you say your Bible says Watch over, parents watch over their children and are guardians of their children. Angels do the same. Unfortunately, bibles are always being changed. There are over 30,000 changes to modernize or, as I put it, dumb down truth. NIV bibles are totally different then the Douay Rheims, King James removed many of the books for his version, I understand that soon they will be removing “a virgin conceived of a son and she shall name him Emanuel”, in the book of Mathews, it will be changed to “a young woman conceived of a son and she shall name him Emanuel.” Virgin/young woman aren’t even the same meaning. In the Catholic Church my missal says man, the churches new missals say human. You need to go back to Gods words before man distorted them. At one time the church changed the consecration to All instead of many. All and many are not the same meanings. After many decades they went back to Christs true words. During those decades many would not receive Holy Communion from the Novus Ordo Mass, they only received from Latin rite or Byzantine rite. I can’t help notice you’ll see people pray these days by removing the thees and thy. Man chooses to remove Gods Glory and place him at our level. I don’t understand why, I choose to stick with tradition. I’m an old fart, therefore, I remember the days when divorce was extremely rare, abortion was illegal, teachers spanked naughty students with a paddle, welfare was for orphans, Priests spoke of Hell, families took care of their elderly and 90% of the world were on their knees to receive the Body, Blood, Soul and divinity of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Not so much these days. It’s a good idea for ALL to pray for truth and never stop seeking it. God Bless you John.

I would like to suggest the Guardian Angel Prayer when you wake up in the Morning and before you go to Bed at Night. This is part of my Prayer Life and it has made a Big difference in my Day. @@maripeterson1762 Praying to anyone besides God is idolatory? The apostles saw that Jesus often prayed alone. So they asked Him to teach them to pray. In this context, of course the apostles were asking Jesus how to pray to His Father. That said, prayer can also take the form of asking someone to pray for us to God. Like if you are asking your dear friend to pray that all will be well for you if you needed medical attention. That's prayer too. And it's not idolatry in that that sense. Bottom line: The word 'praying to' is more nuanced than you might think.

When I got my breast cancer diagnosis I just lay on the bed stunned. Then I felt a brilliant white light above my body and a feeling of enormous compassion. It was my guardian angel. Now she regards me often from a small distance. At an earlier time we had just moved to Chicago and we're still waiting for all our furniture and very worried about my husband finding employment and that my employment would materialize. I distinctly remember my angel looking down at me with much compassion.

Thank you. I did name my guardian angel as I talk to him often. I did this during Holy Mass after I had just received Jesus. He has protected me many times. Twice when my life was in danger during physical attacks (robberies). I live in South Africa where life is precarious due to crime. I love father Fortea. I recommend his books very much. The first time i saw my guardian angel i was 8 yo. I love him so much and feel sorry for him seeing me do bad things but still he keeps protecting me no matter what. Non-catholic here but have always been pulled in this direction. It is so funny to hear him speak about asking our angels to remind us of thing. I do this all the time and most of the time I'll get that little shoulder tap like, "don't forget this!" Religions and pastors differ on this subject. Hard to know who is right. I read one pastor say: "Each guardian angel takes instruction from God himself. So there is no reason to contact your angel since the heavenly hosts respond to the commands of God, not the requests or suggestions from their human assignments. We see evidence of this fact in Psalm 103:20: “Bless the Lord, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word; obeying the voice of His word!” Guardian angels are part of the vast army of God’s messengers; they do not belong to man or his agendas. As much as I welcome their presence, I strive to focus on the Lord alone. Further, it is dangerous to shift our supernatural emphasis on anything other than Jesus Christ. The enemy of our souls looks for such opportunities to appear to us as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14.)
