That woman’s story really resonated with me. For almost all my life, I didn’t pay any attention to God. All I cared about was getting into University, finding a good job, I wouldn’t go to church because I found it boring, I wouldn’t pray because I kept telling myself I didn’t know how to, and I neglected confession for almost 2 decades. One night basically God said that’s enough, you’ve had a good run, come back home now, and not going to get into all the details, but after that, I turned back to God and I realized now why I always felt empty and never at peace. Folks, turn back to God before it’s too late. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still on a journey, but I’m in a much better place than I was before.

@@Chia-mm2nb yes, praise be to him. I credit my mother also who has a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Just like Saint Monica, she literally prayed for my conversion for decades. @@pamelahermano9298 Yes, for sure! Your Mother‘s prayers were efficacious in your return back to the Lord. I totally believe that with all my heart. Our prayers are powerful, especially the prayers of a Mother for her children. And that is a prayer the Lord is always willing to answer with a yes! Jesus said, “There’s more rejoicing in Heaven over one repentant sinner than 99 righteous men.” Amen! Hallelujah! And I rejoice with the Angels and you. 👍🏻😇 Welcome home!

Thank you for sharing your story. I was raised Catholic but started drifting away around college and a bit after college. I never hated the Catholic Church but I fell for the lies of the world and I had a Protestantized-Catholic mentality. I was away from the Church and the Sacraments for many many years (20s and 30s). The Lord, with intercession of His mother, brought me back home to Him and His Church after hitting rock bottom. It took me several years to fully come back Home. It's a journey. When I was living as a Catholic in name only, everything would go wrong. My life was a complete disaster. I was up in my eyeballs in sin and mortal sin. I was so spiritually blind. I am so grateful to Our Lord for saving me and getting me out of that Hell. Grateful to Our Lady too for her prayers and intercession.

Fr Martins' story really spoke to me. I developed type 1 diabetes when I was 8 yo. I would ask my dad why me? What can I do in life with a disease that makes me constantly sick? My dad asked me if I believed God had a reason and plan for my life. Yes, but what?Growing up and even now, I think of what my dad said and know and accept what God wants me to do. There were times when I questioned, fought, and refused God's will. Since accepting God's will instead of fighting against it, I've developed respect and joy for the life God has given me.

I hope youre doing well. I remember my teacher at uni stated she had type 1 diabetes as a child that went away after she stopped eating rice. My aunt’s ex-diabetic best friend is also now officially off the meds after having the strict low carb diet (with magnesium and maybe another supplement). Another is my mother who used to have high blood problems, and now she’s off her high blood meds because of the low carb practice, just saying. Do the research and ask your doctor, if they refuse, go find another doctor who believes in low carb lifestyle and will support this and ask for their advice. Also, pray every day.

@TboneWTF Obviously, you read over the part where I said I was diagnosed with t1d when I was 8 yo. In 1972, there wasn't the technology of today, and my parents did the best they could with what was available. I became a nurse and a Certified Diabetes Educator to help others with this disease. My post wasn't about my health but what I've accomplished in life bc of God, Mary, and my guardian angel. Do you really believe exercise and healthy food are the only things a person with t1d has to do to stay healthy? You're ridiculous. This isn't about me but what God has given me in the 52 years living with this disease. so I can help others the way I was helped.

The devil was suggesting that bogus idea to that dying lady to steer her away from repenting and accepting death. She could not find a way to take out that splinter. And all she had to do was stop making excuses to admit her sins and repent. Suggestions, ideas and empty promises is how Satan has done it since Adam and Eve till this day. Always pray on it when a suggestion pops up. Test the spirits. With God it’s more of an inspiration deep in your heart and always leads to doing a virtuous thing vs a selfish and sinful thing.

It occurs to me that this poor woman was a classic narcissist. They tend to seek approval and appreciation in rich, famous, and well-connected associates as if all the appearances will fill the void. To the very end she was seeking some grandiose purpose and avoided taking any personal responsibility for the path she chose. Sadly, she came face-to-face with her own emptiness, the very thing she spent a lifetime avoiding at all costs. She refuses to repent or even acknowledge that repentance is necessary; that Jesus's salvation is necessary; that the grace of the Holy Spirit is necessary. Narcissism is very difficult to overcome because the ego is so attached to transitory things and external validation because of the deepest fear of annihilation. Salvation requires surrender to Jesus and that is very difficult for a narcissist to do. Prayers for her soul.

Pamela Hermano above had a great personal story. As to my own, if you feel God is calling you to the Consecrated Life don't turn your gaze at "the plough" and look behind you (as I did). There is nothing that you are missing out on, only the sorrows and disappointments of the world. Follow Christ unreservedly if He is calling you to this intimate life of self-denial. He only wants the best for you and what will give you the MOST happiness, as He knows you better than you know your self! You only have one life!

_As a young priest, I was called to tend to a dying woman in the hospital. When I arrived, the first thing she said was, "Father, I need to talk to you. There's something wrong. I know I'm not supposed to die right now". She asked me to pray for her to be healed so that she might go and do that task that God wills. She started listing off her lifelong accomplishments, and it was in the midst of this that it dawned on me: this woman had lived her life the wrong way. She associated her life with achieving things that were great in the eyes of the world. But in her dying moments, there was a kind of pathetic gasp as she had spent herself on this path and yet she was still hungry. I tried to steer her to a deeper understanding and relationship with God and of what He wants for us in being united with Him in the Eucharist. But she would have none of it. She insistently asked that I pray for a healing so that she might be able to go out and do that one task that God willed for her. Of course i prayed for her, but nothing visible came from it - she died as nature took its course. I had never experienced such pathos, such pity at seeing this person desperately make a petition._

And these people was not even some drunkers or had a fance life style. That is how people think life is,they regret only because they are sick or dying because they will not enjoy anymore of their sins, not for something else. Greed and greed over greed about material things or the way they look. If u look around how middle aged and old people are living nowdays is the same way,in the has no fear from God,they doesnt enjoy their age but wanna live like young people, they even dress like this! Jesus would never steal God’s glory the way man does: Jesus never said he was God and he never will. Jesus always let the world know that the power and spirit that dwells inside of him belongs to the Father alone. In John 10:31-32, they wanted to stone Jesus because they misunderstood him, but what did Jesus say about God? He said, “many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?” Jesus never once spoke or did anything to steal God’s glory. The works being done through Jesus are the works from God for all to see; the same happened with Samson, Moses, and true believers of today. We are devoted to the Father’s will and glorifying only Him. As God has said in Isaiah 42:8 and 48:11, I will not give my glory to another. No one else possesses power in the entire universe unless it is ordained by God. Any other way of thinking will lead to damnation (Romans 13:1-2).

THE CRUELTY COMES FROM HAVING TO LIVE UP TO SOME MAN MADE DOCTRINE, THE LADY IS NO DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER WEEPING HEARTS. WHAT WAS GODS PLAN FOR THOSE BOMBED AND BROKEN CHILDREN IN GAZA, . Tell me what did they do so wrong in this life. Who I ask is truly the wolves in sheep's clothing,?. Cheers Gabriel ☀️👣

The idea of Jesus, a saint, a sage or God has a plan for us souls is absurd and the reason why religion is the opposite to spirituality. Every soul has its own journey based on free will, which in turn determines their destination. Soul consciousness is true spirituality and religion is man-made dogma. Arbitrary theology is what organised religions have been doing for centuries. Accurate faith is: I now belong to the Father, the Supreme Soul, and I recognise, accept and move along while considering myself to be a soul and I know the Father as He is.

God that thumbnail is so mean! Pathetic? Have some empathy and don't use words like that to describe someone. That's so mean omg.

Father was only describing his own panicked reaction to the woman's situation. As God is outside of time, perhaps you yourself could pray for the good of this woman's eternal soul; for her salvation? As well as for increased wisdom and insight for all priests and religious ministers who find themselves in a similar situation as they visit people who are dying? Ask their own angels to guide them, so that they themselves may become messengers of God's hope and love in these final moments. And so that the dying persons may be open to receiving the spiritual guidance they most need at this important time.

The priest did it all wrong. He should have prayed that God would let her to have another chance at life and let her know what her mission is in life.

I respectfully have to disagree with you. The priest called her to repent and let God decide what He would do. This has been my experience too, I yield to God’s plan for me. He knows us (He made us) best.

@@marjoriekugler9351 God's plan for her was to give her another chance to complete her mission. The idea of having another crack at finishing her mission in life before death was put inside her mind by God. She should have followed her God given intuition and not seek advice from a goody goody priest. Just because he is called "priest" it don't mean shit.

@user-zw4iy1rt8k If God's plan was to give her another chance then she would have received another chance.

@@RubyFleetwoodCactus She will; she did not need to ask a goody two shoe, wet behind the ear priest because he gave her bad advice.

I never tire of listening to “any” of the exorcists you chose to use. They are all fantastic! I learn something new each and every time I listen. Thank you and God bless you for your hard work in putting these talks together. I’m sure it’s not easy. I’m fairly new to your station and I love it! 👍🏻🙏🏻

thanks for listening, Chia. Appreciate it. Like I said in the video, I learned a lot from Fr. Martins. While he is known most as the exorcist and host of the exorcist files, but there are a lot more that I've learned from him, outside of the subject of exorcism.
