The opening credits scene was around 5 minutes long and you got this full piece from John Williams before the movie even really started. You don’t see that anymore. He will go down as one the greatest composers of the second half of the 20th and early 21st century. A lot of the most popular classical pieces came from the entertainment arts like opera and ballet. Our entertainment art is film. John Williams is the Igor Stravinsky and W.A. Mozart of our time.

I was born in the 60’s & never really appreciated what a great piece of brilliant must until much later in my life as a musician. . @Persus you are correct, this is where Johns brilliance started. It’s like something awoke in Johns brilliant mind & he has been consistently producing masterpieces ever since. I don’t like to think about it for 1 second but it will be a profoundly terrible time when John departs this world. He’s pushing 90 & I think I will mourn him for years afterwards.
