Let me guide you on a twenty-minute stroll inside the world's most visited cemetery, Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France.
More than 3.5 million people visit this place every year, yet I don't think the more than 1 million people buried here mind.
Tombs, graves, monuments here are among the most artistic and varied that you'll find in any cemetery in the world.
This video contains a curated handful of "celebrity" tombs, and a selection of memorial monuments.
The map, if you want to follow the same route is here: www.google.com...

Beautifully shot and narrated film, and the music was a perfect accompaniment on the tour. Pere Lachaise is something I've never done in my years of visiting Paris so this was all new for me, thank you. Even my wife liked the video and cemeteries are not her thing...

Ive watched dozens of Pere Lachaise videos and this is by far the best - of course adding Eric Satie's music was a beautiful addition.

Outstanding video! We went for a long walk in the cemetery last year. We did not look for any graves in particular - we just wandered around appreciating the park like environment. I wish I had seen this video first - you shared so many interesting stories! I also loved the music! Many thanks!

great video, love the background music intro by erik satie's gymnopedies & gnossiennes, very sombre & so fitting. it's funny how you say jim morrison's grave is the most visited, and he's not even french person. oscar wilde's grave is the second most visited grave at pere lachaise, and he's not even french person either, just sayin.

Legend has it that if a woman in need of a child rubs this statue, she will become fertile. In fact, sometimes (you can easily find this on the internet) women take off their panties and rub their genitals on the statue.

3.5 million a year. That's nonsense. That equates to almost 10k per day. I've been there many times and there has never been anything like that figure. Click bait. Pity.
