I think you'd only truly 'get' this video and song if you were brought up in working class Britain and that's what makes it such an amazing piece of work. Being a teenager in a crap town with no money and nothing to do will send you one way or another. Some kids can't wait to get away and better themselves, whilst others succumb to a life of petty crime. I'm now a forty year old Mother who started out like this but managed to get an education and a so called better life but I'll never forget where I came from and have grown to be really proud of it.

mimiandbaby I think anybody brought up in the working class of every country of this world, would get this video. To grow up with deprivations may lead you to a very obscure way of life if you dont' have education, or the support of your family.

I watched this specific video when I was 17 and i remember this video was made for a school project. Im now 33 and its still here, so pleased. I wore Rockport boots with Adidas Trackies and a Fred Oerry Jumper when this came out. 🤣 love the memories!❤

I reckon that is an amazing video, i dont know why some people are abusing it. It shows the typical day of a teenager, and atleast its not all video edited and digitised like nearly all of the videos these days. It just adds to the originality. Kinda suits the arctic monkeys style anyway. Its mint, god job mate
