Yup. Terminate no.1 superchat and refund merch seems like the damage really big. I don't think they will do that to rushia unless theres a valid reason like for example with coco, they dissolve holoCN, they also want to keep coco aswell but after coco give good reason to leave, then they had to accept her request. Its not like they can force talent to stay aswell. If things like this happen like how it happen to holoCN, then it might be out of control. More damage than holoCN incident

What do you expect? The company statement is the management level personnel's "response". They aren't going to roll out every person in management to make a statement. At this point we know Rushia messed up and HL as a company basically had no choice but to let her go for breach of contract. If they did not, it weakens every other contract they have with employees and other companies.

Say what she leaked that shouldn't have been said to the public, doing the exact same thing they terminated her for in the first place? People gonna love that hipocrisy. What if it's also something bad enough that Rushia leaking it fucks up her image and puts her under more pressure? NDAs are literally part of any job establishment. How come this super horrendous landmine only blew up YEARS after Cover has already been set up? This is something you have to sign just to work with them, **you literally need to read the damn thing and agree with it you absolute dumb ass.** These NDAs didn't materialize now that Rushia has been fired, and (unless you have proof I have no knowledge of) they were agreed to and signed by all these girls "just waiting to fall into the landmine". If the girls have really breached them, then they simply get fired if it's found out. End of story. A "big" NDA breach? In what capacity? Y'all act like they are Apple instead of some anime girls on KZbin. Cover is free to operate in whatever way they want, including choosing how to enact discipline. If the only cause of her termination is what's already public then this is unacceptable behavior from Cover. Not only the termination, but slandering and sabotaging any future endeavors by Rushia/Mikeneko with their vague and uninformative statements that misrepresent the situation. The sum total of what was "leaked", as far as I know, is fuck all. I want to believe that they made the best choice for those involved, but their history of repeatedly handing down ridiculous punishments for minor transgressions and bending the knee to trolls, and subsequently having it blow up in their face, prevents me from giving them the benefit of the doubt. Additionally, failure to properly educate and train their talents on what is acceptable conduct and how strictly rules will be enforced, as well as provide resources that aid in the implementation of those standards, is also on Cover. This is not the first time this has happened - Aloe may never have had an issue had there been clearer instruction from her manager, and better support in the aftermath. Keep in mind that the talents themselves are generally amateurs hired based on a simple audition process. Expecting them to be universally perfect with no education or guidance is asinine.

When you write up a legal contract for something, and then don't enforce it - your lack of willingness to enforce what was agreed upon within a legal framework, can be used to argue that the stipulation should be disregarded, if conflicts over the same thing arrives in the future. Cover cannot make a contract saying, DO NOT DO THIS, and then when talents clinch with these points, refuse to follow up on it - unless they want to invalidate the legal defense that the contract provides in the first place, during a later conflict over the same issue. Everyone lost in this case, they didn't want to go through with this, but potentially giving up legal protection from their contracts in the future, forced their hand. Its obvious that this shook up everyone - nobody had planned this, nobody desired for this to happen.

People make it out like "Cover bad. Corporate bad. Big companies bad." but to put things in perspective, even friendships work like this. All friend groups will have secrets, inside jokes and things that are generally considered sacred between friends and can be damaging if other people find out. It is fairly common for people that break this trust or become a threat by exposing secrets to be kicked out of the friend group. This isn't just a corporate thing, it's human nature. For those too young to understand NDAs and contracts, let me put it this way. If a close friend leaks your group's secrets to the school's number one gossip monger? Would you still trust them? There's no wiggle room here. Rushia committed a cardinal sin in this business. Cover is no longer an indie tech company. They are a TALENT AGENCY, they are SHOW BUSINESS. In this line of work, protecting the privacy and security of performers is absolutely key, because where there is fandom there is fanaticism. Fanatical delusional fans can become DANGEROUS. We do not want a KyoAni situation. As employees, Hololive performers are privy to privileged information. When Rushia broke her NDA and leaked information to a gossip outlet, her actions sent a message to Cover that she could no longer be trusted with that information. However hard and sad it might be, Cover made the RIGHT decision, the ONLY decision. The company cannot gamble the security of 60+ performers and the company on a mentally unwell employee, even if that employee is their top salesperson. If they kept her on the roster it would also have discouraged other Show Business such as TV, Anime, Vtube and AD agencies from working with them because they take information security very seriously too.

We could hear A-chan voice a bit shakky here and there, i'm pretty sure A-chan too have a hard time to sort her feelings on this matter, and i'm pretty sure all of the holomem too, One more member that's been engraved in my memories, and wishing all holomem to always take care of their health more importanly mental health, and a wish to Uruha Rushia herself for her happiness, and may God Bless her journey afterward so there's lot and lot of happiness for Uruha Rushia in the future ^^

Ok this actually puts a lot of things in perspective for me. It seems like as people who knew Rushia no one wanted to let her go they wanted to help her. However as a company they had to let her go because she broke the rules. It’s like how if any of us at our jobs broke a serious rule we would have to be let go as well even if we were loved by all our coworkers. There are rules we all have to follow as soon as we are hired on. It sucks but I’m glad that it seems like as people outside of work they care about her.

You can hear the sadness in her voice. It's not her fault actually for what happens. We know that she cared about all of the holomem in the industry, but yeah this event is just unfortunate for both parties.

i can only hope rushia can apologize and compensate the damage being done, maybe there's a chance considering cover kindness and their statement like consider difficult to manage and support but then again main problem is the contract that she should protect, she break it. its even hard to think how or is there even a chance? but we'll never know unless if damage done can be minimize

There are still some ppl blaming Cover and criticising other girls' reaction. I hope you all get some "meeting ur hero irl" moments. The actions of the VA behind Rushia goes way deeper than we all know. Take everything with a saltmine worth of salt but do some critical thinking when things do eventually add up.

@@imLumineux honestly I think Rushia was at fault but not completely to blame. She was desperate, but she shouldn't have let that desperation get to her which resulted in her termination. Also, what started this was the alleged relationship between her and Mafumafu which caused some idiots to get mad at both of them which is dumb because they're people as well. Whoever they are in a relationship with behind their models, is none of their business. Overall, a tragedy that spiraled out of control.
