"Join more clubs!" Best advice ever. I started college 2 years ago and I was terrified. The first semester I decided to join a club, 3 actually. 2 didn't work out and i just didn't go back, but the third has become the best choice I ever made. Im surrounded by people who enjoy having me around and there are other people who are just like me (I have autism) so im super accepted. The club I joined is the highlight of my life. Every now and then you will make a friend in class who stays for a semester, but club friends last throughout the years.

To my younger self: don’t torture yourself over good grades. None of your friends will judge you for getting that slightly lower grade and your mental health will be so much better once you stop basing your worth on your academic success. And talk to your friends more. They are really nice and do actually like talking to you - you are not a burden. And to my even younger self - stop pretending to be someone else. The real you is pretty great and will get you better friends than you’ve ever had. You have a lot more potential than you realize and it’s about time you start believing in yourself.

This is random but my friend bought me dan and Phil March for an early birthday present and yesterday, like 5 minutes before I left to go on vacation in the uk, it came and I picked it up. I’m typing this inside a restaurant in London wearing a dan and Phil hoodie hoping to meet them. Literally all my friends have been praying for me. So yeah.... idk why I wanted to tell that to the internet but thanks for reading if you didn’t leave in the beginning. Edit: I found out that I was only staying half a day in London and the rest of the week somewhere else and also I didn’t meet them This just adds to my theory that the universe hates me :)
