I remember hanging out for a brief moment with Blas at Backstage Club in Houston one New Year's Eve long ago. I think Lilian Axe played that night. Those were the days! Houston's rock scene was king at that club. He's a nice person and I remember catching him open for KISS during the Hot in the Shade tour 1990 at the Houston Summit. Slaughter set the stage for the night! Their energy was strong, and they were followed by Winger. It was my last night to see the great Eric Carr from Kiss too. What a show! Elias, Morgenstein, and Carr.

Blias was the reason I stuck with drums in high-school when that first Slaughter album came out and I heard his drumming style I was forever inspired. Thank you for many years of wonderful music.

It's by far, the best show on the strip. Every time I (or we) are in Vegas, Raiding The Rock Vault is on the "to do" list. Blas is not only a great drummer, but a nice guy as well. Money well spent. That's for sure!
