Very impressive, For something that is not your forte, you laid it down like a boss! I've only discovered your videos recently while entertaining the thought of maybe building a few rods. Kinda considering something I can do in retirement as a hobby. I've got the space but just thinking it over. My wife loves it when I spend money on something I do for a couple months. I checked out Chevron wraps when I first started making rides 5 years ago. It was too complicated. After quitting for 3 years I picked it up again 6 months ago and still bypassed the Chevron wraps because it was too complicated. I just ran across your video on KZbin and it's never been clearer. Your explanation and the dual white thread for the top and bottom were the success ticket. This cleared up most questions and apprehensions.

Holy crap Captain Lee! Whatever you charge a customer is not enough. All I personally care about is that my reel and guides do not fall off the rod when fishing, but what you do is very impressive.

What do you mean by the high side?

When you do your layout and make your marks, the high side is to my right or the tip end of those marks, and the low side, my left is towards the butt end from those marks. Not set terminology but it's what I call it.
