From chapter 7 to chapter 9, is all about Assyrian oppression, and in chapters 10 and 11 we see destruction of Assyrians. But the question is, if chapter 9/6 is about Hezekiah how in ch 11/6-8 we read: "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling[a] together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest." Verses above has nothing in common with reign of Hezekiah, rather 1000 year long kingdom of Yeshua!!

I've read this passage many times in Hebrew through Christian eyes. Always I read it as future tense. Of course, it isn't. It's in the past. Great point. The name is less sure. This passage uses Gavar, whereas Hezekiah's name has Chazak.

How does the messiah bless all nations? How does the serpents head get bruised? What does baptism mean? Why is baptism so important? Why a blood sacrifice? Jesus lived that perfect life. The grave couldn't hold him because he never sinned. The way we get eternal life through him, is by baptism. Baptising into his name, we also put on his veil. Baptised in to his death and resurrection also. That's why 1. it had to be a blood sacrifice, life for life and 2. human sacrifice, so we have a human book of life to have our names written in. I don't expect you to know it, because most Christians don't understand it, or the gospel and that it started with Abraham.

Very good explanation, but a question: I can understand names like: goodness of God, God remembers, and so on but those are like attributes of God. Why would King Hezekiah be called Hezekiah if his name means mighty god and not Might of God? That doesn't seem in line with Jewish tradition. That would be like other Biblical kings or Prophets being called: Generous God, Merciful God etc.?

The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. I don't see evidence of any government being upon king Hezekiah's shoulder during his reign, in Isaiah 9:6. To be upon his shoulder would mean, mean, that everyone is against him, the only people that were against king Hezekiah were the Assyrians like you mentioned but they are not the government of Israel.

I think it is absolutely preposterous to affirm that Isaiah 9: 6,7 is speaking about Hezekiah. Is Rabbi Tovia Singer saying Hezekiah is Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of peace? And his government shall never end and increase of peace ever after? Hezekiah government did end and the Israelites encountered various turbulent times after that. Isaiah 9: 6,7 is certainly not speaking regarding Hezekiah.

If you look in the Hebrew, you’ll see, that the correct way to translate, it is “and the wonder us advisor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, called his name, the Prince of peace”. So the words “mighty God and everlasting father“ are referring to God. Not to the baby.

The problem with this is that Luke 24.25-27, the risen Jesus speaking to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus indicates this; "Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! very important to see that God born a Son Psalm 109, this world was not yet. He walked in all of the Old Testament. Abraham saw Him as Melkhisidek, Moses saw Him face to face, He is also Angel of the Lord where the name of God is in Him. He was in Pilar of fire ad cloud. Joshua saw Him as Commander of the LORDs army and so on. He came through Mary as He got in, He got out. He came from heaven with His heavenly body and blood Hebrew 9:11-12. Christians need to study about bodies 1 Corinthians 15:40-50. He is Man from heaven not man physical like all say. I believe that the person spoken of in Isaiah 9:6 is not Hezekiah, but rather Ezra. Which is why when Jesus says in John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. the word helper was misinterpreted as a word rather than a name. Saying "Ezra, the Holy Spirit (dwelling in him) whom the Father will send in my name.... Jesus spoke in aramaic to his disciples. This Ezra is the representation of Muhammad which brings back the Reminder or (The Book of Remembrance) spoken of in Malachi 3:16-18. Like Jesus mentions John the Baptist to be Elijah who is to come so is Muhammad mentioned as Ezra who is to come to give glory to Jesus and clear his name.

This is a fallacy to translate the meaning of the Personal Nouns and use their respecting meaning not as a proper noun but as a part of the sentence. Early Christians would, no doubt, have consulted the Septuagint which would not have translated Hezekiah's name into its Greek equivalent.

1. Your assuming 2. First version of the Septuagint was off the five books of Moses, and it was burned before the advent of Christianity. 3. Septuagint today and then was used a collective name of translations of Hebrew in to Greek. When Jerome wrote the Vulgate he already mentions there where many difference in the multiple versions of the Septuagint and couldn't trust it, therefore he went back to Hebrew sources

EZEKIEL is a statement of the Character of the Son of Man and not his name. YHVH calls an actual name and it is Son of Man not Ezekiel. This is because it is YHVH showing, telling and instructing the Son of Man on what will happen and what he is to do. This is the same Son of Man that came in the NT. The word Ezekiel is only used 6 times in the OT but the name Son of Man is used 93 times in the book of Ezekiel alone. YHVH addresses the person in that book as the Son of Man NOT EZEKIEL. As the rabbi correctly pointed out in other videos any introduction to a septuagint wikl tell you the jewish scholars forced to translate only translated the 5 books of moses. Not the rest of tanach. Not isaiah.
