Withdrawal of attention to test her is game, pulling back, manipulating, immature, controlling, deceitful and insincere. If he pulls away as a test, he’s setting a precedence to handle concerns by not communicating. He should be plain spoken and speak what he means and mean what he speaks. If he senses you aren’t ‘all in’ toward the relationship, he should say: ‘I sense that you’re not all in toward the relationship’. Mark did not provide a scripture to advocate for this behavior.

Still, it's how men work. It's not mean, disrepectful or ill-intentioned game, but it's game overall ! We can't cold-approach women anymore thanks to devilish rampant feminism, and today cold-approach can get us jailed. So we have to be very cautious before approaching, and we have to get the crucial info "Is she interested in me approaching her romantically ?" before we can move forward and approach the woman. That's not engineering science !

Mr. Mark. Happy Sabbath. May God bless you and thank you for this. Honestly, I've been pretty confused. Like, I've been part of a choir since last year. There, I met two guys who I've been closed with. Guy #01 approached me last year and was really showing interest towards me. I didn't like him back then, but suddenly I started to do so and he backed off as he was suffocated. He even told me he likes me but not enough to have a relationship. He admitted he knew I liked him and put distance since then to see how much I could manage. Basically, he rejected me that day. However, guy #02 has been there since last year either. We didn't talk almost during the whole year last year, and this 2024 we started knowing each other because our director told me I can get full support on guy #02. So, we began working together. He is always so attentive, comprehensive, and fully patient. He's not the type of talking that much, but he is always there. I saw him as a friend, but now something in me switched and I would like to give a try, but he's kind of reluctant about showing too much. So, I don't know if he likes me. I've been praying, but I just don't know.

@@dawnkennedy5134 hmm ,usually when a guy asks for a date its not to be official, it just to have a chance to talk and get to know you, but that doesn't mean they made up their mind that they like you. Its to consider if they even think they like you. But I wasn't there. I remember back when I was on tinder I went on a date with a girl and later I mentioned it was a date and she said it wasn't, so it established a weird dynamic because she eventually liked me alot and never was able to admit she liked me after she said we weren't on a date from way back when. Point being the issue was she assumed there was more value to a date than I did I think most guys dont take a single date seriously, they just see it as a better opportunity to talk to someone. Its weird to get to know someone randomly for a guy at work or school, you cant really do it, not enough time or the right environment. I assume he did something nice to show you he wasn't mean but could be caring, rather than randomly ask you out without showing you any good intentions. I know once a girl makes a rejection seem official or or flat out rejected the idea of something, I never try to cross a boundary they set ( I had one girl claim nothing was possible between us and about a month later was frustrated I didnt show her affection). They often make a choice too early and later when they warm up to me they get frustrated I dont re approach but in my mind Im just respecting their boundaries. Point is you never know when someone will show something that you'll like. You never like someone ... until you do, its usually not instant. It only takes a few moments for an opinion to change about someone. Guys just like to be pro active and not lose a chance on someone they think could be special.

@@dawnkennedy5134 oh I see. I wasn't there so its hard to tell what happened, but I know most guys (including myself) dont take a date as a sign of commitment. Its usually because they want to see if they even like you for sure. I remember one time I took someone out on a date and then when I mentioned it later on they denied it was a date. Then as time went on and they keep seeing me they really liked me and they could never admit when we were on dates since they did not want to backtrack verbally what they said, so they got frustrated I never made moves to progress the interaction. I mention that because sometimes people reject soon at the beginning and later change their minds, its hard to know if someone is good for us right away and our opinions can change after we get to talk to someone one on one. I think he probably did something nice first because he wanted to show you he is nice and can be caring, instead of just asking you out without having shown you he can be a nice guy. Sometimes guys ask girls out because they dont want to miss out on someone that might be special but I would say 99 percent of the time isn't because they are in love or committed to being your boyfriend. They are probably just interesting in having conversation that isn't random at work or school etc, its probably they just want to talk in a better environment. Its not possible to get to know someone very well unless you spend time with them.

This is my current predicament. Problem is that we have been friends for years now, he did initiate that we go out 2yrs ago but due to d fact that i never suspected he might have feelings for me, I froze from shock and I did try to make it up to him after I realized I do like him too but he simply read & ignored my message, so I leave him be and we remained as friends but recently things have taken a whole different turn. Like I can't even escape from him anymore, wherever I went in church, he'll be right there. He calld my name everywhere & It's so obvious now that people are talking about it and some even think we are already dating. But he still won't just come clean and ask me out. I want him to either speak up or leave me alone. I've tried avoiding him but that didn't work either, please what can I do? I'm really just tired at this point.

In the past wen a guy starts acting same way and I ask, he'll admit he likes me and den we end up dating but the thing is, I always end up in regret becos, it is either that the guy turns out to be too immature for my liking or the whole relationship feels rushed and most times I find myself doing most of the works to keep it together until I get tired & call it off. That's why I don't want to ask, I don't want to force him to admit. I want him to show me that he is ready to pour himself fully into building a relationship with me. I need to see that he is ready and serious enough to confront whatever might be holding him back. If not, as I've said, he should just leave me alone. Note: I am a very devoted Christian lady (29 by Sept 21st) fully involved in ministry: Evangelism, Choir, and Drama. I am very hardworking and takes very good care of myself both appearance wise & psychologically. Well read also and committed to growth. Sometimes I wonder maybe I'm just too much and that's why men usually find it hard to admit their feelings for me. I don't know. I've just been burnt too many times becos I love deeply and wholeheartedly, I really just need it to be clear and simple going forward. No more signals without full on action.

If you really cannot tell what his interest is, ask a friend who's opinion you trust, to watch him discretely, and give their assessment. Alternately, if you both are Christian, realize that two Christian strangers can meet and greet each other like old friends, because of their commonality shared in Christ. Just as him, or inquire with a layperson at his church. This may also give you some insight into his faith and walk with God.

Well.. I guess I have nothing to worry about. He's interested but not so interested that he'll start pursuing me. With how the world is imploding right now, I think I should back off with this guy I like. I know he likes me as much as I like him. But he lives a long distance away. We've become closer over the last few months. But this is becoming just too hard to be apart, and he's so relied on in his church community that he can not be in 2 places at once. They depend highly on him. If things do go south and becomes really bad. I don't want him trying to stretch himself in taking care of his church family while trying to be there for my mom and me. We live over 70 miles from each other. I really don't want that for him. I'm thinking it will be better to slowly back away now before we get in too deep. Just really not the right timing for such a relationship. 😒
