I'm probably way off in left field here, but when his soul rises up off the cross, it sort of brought to mind when he was floating "high" in the "Losing My Mind" video. Combined with the lyrics "Everything falls apart", while angels and demons contest over him, it makes me wonder if maybe he had a moment of weakness and backslid into a temporary night of old addictions.

The same thing happened to me. I discovered Falling In Reverse a couple years ago and their music has stuck with me. It sounds like nothing else I've ever heard and very refreshing. My family has always been against metal because it sounds "bad," but they don't listen to the message. Too many people let their personal opinions dictate their perception of reality instead of being open-minded.

I totally agree!! It's very refreshing, it's very different from other bands, even tho every band has its own "sound" but the fact he mixes different "genres" and innovates a lot makes this band really special! And same here, my family hates metal, and thinks it's evil, but honestly I think people get the wrong message from music just being "heavy"!

Speaking as a Pagan, I feel like you're the kind of Christian I could be friends with. Someone openminded and not quick to judge harshly. Also, your English is awesome. Don't worry, even we native speakers lose it sometimes too. There are entire websites dedicated to...having a laugh at what people use to fill in when they lose their words and have to use other, less sensible words (like saying "bird leaf" when what you mean is "feather"). Alot of Christians Misinterpret what is going here and what the song is about. Its not about religion is about him calling out our government and us believing in false "gods" (the people we follow in our government who have abandoned us and dont care). So he calls them out and gets crucified for telling the truth. Its pretty much a wake up call for everyone to not just hope but to actually stand up and do something about the system we follow. But I love your videos, I think you are one of the only ones that ive seen that understands the art of this kind of music haha Great Video!

I❤ur reaction 2 this song. There is an order 2 this series; Prequel, Popular Monster, Ronald, Watch the World Burn then Last Resort Reimagined. I❤that u don't think that he was trying 2 be hurtful or disrespectful especially with the cross scene. I've watched other reactors reacting 2 this & read some of the comments where people wrote bad comments trying 2 say that 'Oh, so Ronnie thinks he's God now'. ART! Ronny is telling a story. In the Bible when Jesus speaks to the masses, he is sharing a story at one level but also on another level. Jesus will talk about: not removing the weeds from the grass. A preacher will say that the weeds (sinners, non believers) need to be in amongst the believers, eventually the non believer may very will be a believer at some point. (I was a weed for a long time...) Ronny sees the hypocrisy around him and is opening our eyes to it. Prays the Lord for freedom of speech and Larry Flint. Yes that is a "juxtaposition". Me? There are so many parallels to the gospel accounts of Jesus in both the video and the lyrics of this song, you'll see this on the rewatches. The other videos on the Popular Monster albums are set in the same world, the order is debatable other than that Prequel is early and Watch the World Burn seems to lead straight into Last Resort (Reimagined) I agree with another commenters broad interpretation in that Ronnie feels the pull of both good and evil, and his conclusion is to destroy both and forge his own path rather than simply give over his soul to one or the other.

Nah, he is not struggling - he has said repeatedly this was his past self. He is fine without any God's just as I am. :) You can have yours, that is fine, just be a nice person unlike those who attack others like how Hamas/Hezbollah etc bad people do. I am not afraid of your 'God' - I am afraid of what you might do in the name/sake of your God (fictional character to me, like Bart Simpson, Shrek, Tooth Fairy etc.) So doing bad things in their name is laughable and really silly yes? Well that is how I see them doing this in the name of their God. It is dangerous and immoral too.
