I am enjoying your Nightwish reactions...I would recommend you watch a live performance from 2013 to the present, while Floor has been the singer. Ghost Love Score from the 2013 Wacken show is a great one to start with. ☮❤

He clearly objected to your pronunciation of Floor "Djensen" 😁 The boat connection is obvious: he said, "look it's 'ya' as in 'yacht'.." (which is derived from the Dutch word 'jacht')

Thanks for the video @AthenaDK! I finally got to see that beautiful, fluffy, ginger cloud of cuteness! )))) The Japanese rock scene really has many talented and interesting bands. If you’re not familiar with Man With A Mission yet, you should definitely check out their songs "Dead End in Tokyo" and "The Anthem". lyrics of their are amazing, often touching on themes like personal growth, inner struggles, the search for meaning in life, and the drive to overcome challenges. You might find some great songs to add to your playlist ;)

Thanks for the video @AthenaDK! I couldn’t wait to see your reaction to their songs ))) Slaughter to Prevail really is a great band, though at first glance, this might seem like a controversial statement ) Either way, they’re talented guys, every musician in the band. Alexander is a great person. I’ve known them and their music since the band was formed in the mid-2010s. We used to live in the same city, Yekaterinburg. Alexander is a really cool guy with great personal qualities and a strong character. He can not only achieve his own goals but also motivate others with his energy and actions. He’s a phenomenon in the music world, a self-made man. I’m sure he has a great future ahead, especially after leaving Russia and meeting talented people in music like Ronnie Radke and Corey Taylor. I enjoy watching how he and his band are rising to the top of the metal scene.

@@andreifox3367 hi 😁 wow being from the same town as him hahaha nice!! Yes at first the looks and the name seemed a bit scary, I didn't really know what to expect beside the fact I was sure it was going to be heavy but this is really good, in every way, his voice the musicians, esthetic of the band and image, Alex Terrible is an insane singer really and indeed it's really great he is collaborating with other huge singers and bands now!! Great discovery really!! 😁

@@AthenaDK When I mentioned the city, I meant that it’s awesome to discover interesting bands, attend their shows in small nightclubs, talk to them personally, and watch them as they just begin their journey, then see how they grow as musicians and achieve what they deserve. It’s great to see them even for the first time, but if you know where it all started and how they were just 20-year-old guys that few people understood or supported, it’s even better. Especially in a totalitarian country, where everyone tries to cancel your concerts-from politicians to religious groups-just because you don’t fit in. )))

The same thing happened to me. I discovered Falling In Reverse a couple years ago and their music has stuck with me. It sounds like nothing else I've ever heard and very refreshing. My family has always been against metal because it sounds "bad," but they don't listen to the message. Too many people let their personal opinions dictate their perception of reality instead of being open-minded.
@AthenaDK
@AthenaDK 2 сағат бұрын
I totally agree!! It's very refreshing, it's very different from other bands, even tho every band has its own "sound" but the fact he mixes different "genres" and innovates a lot makes this band really special! And same here, my family hates metal, and thinks it's evil, but honestly I think people get the wrong message from music just being "heavy"!

It is great that you are touched by Nightwish's music because you have "such an ocean*" of emotions in front of you ! When you move to the previous albums, a good suggestion is to look (and listen) to the live videos, you'll get Floor's facial expressions and gestures that add another layer to music and lyrics. * You'll understand why I'm writing this expression while you explore more Tuomas's lyrics.

One thing you must know is that Band Maid are the opposite of a one hit wonder band. From their catalogue of more than 120 songs, fans always debate about which are the best ones, because every top 20 songs from each person is going to be a different one. Band Maid doesn't even play often some of their most successful songs in live shows, their catalogue is so deep and versatile. I recommend the songs Blooming, Daydreaming, Endless Story, Before yesterday, Moratorium, Clang, Memorable, Play, Wonderland, Domination, Bestie, Order, Don't you tell me, Forward, Page, Dice, Bubble, Hate, Warning (I mean the song called like that, but you're also going to enjoy their colaboration with the band called The Warning), Sayonakidori, Start Over, Puzzle, About Us, Forbidden Tale, The One...
