Did anyone notice that Scrooge doesn't actually change for being a good person, but because he doesn't want to die alone, roam the world in chains like Marley and have his stuff stolen after his death with no one at his funeral. In the end he still changed for selfish reasons. 💀

Yeah, totally no revelation at all. Was visited by multiple ghosts and had full on sleep paralysis visions as to where his life was headed with that bah hambugh attitude, self funded a kid he had no responsibility for back from the dead, improved the quality of life for his employees, and convinced everyone he met in passing of his “genuine” warm heart..all because when he died he didn’t want people to say mean things and had an attachment to materials he would absolutely have zero need for after death? Are you sure about that? I mean I guess it does take a bit of vicariousness and if thats your take away you may be colder than scrooge

imagine a reversed version of this story about a miser and all the people around him and instead of three ghosts visiting the miser they instead visit the people around him who are shown that it is there fault the miser is the way he is because of stuff they did to him in the past and then they are shown how miserable the miser is then they find out what will happen if they don’t apologise and then they do exactly that and the man changes for the best.
