I've learned, and can prove after 15 years of independent research, that Charles Dickens wasn't the original author of "A Christmas Carol." I've learned that it was written by Americans Mathew Franklin Whittier, and his wife Abby Poyen Whittier, in 1838-39. Dickens commercialized their completed manuscript to make quick cash, within six weeks, because he was worried about falling into debt. He didn't understand it, himself, and he was surprised when it was so popular.

Yes and I've learned that Tolstoy's epic War and Peace was ACTUALLY written by a green martian named Zork Zork. Tolstoy stole the manuscript because he was a dick. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
