So enjoy seeing your mum and her garden. Most important sighting was seeing your mum stand from sitting using the full strength of her legs with no pushing with her hands/arms. That motion will allow older adults to strengthen their legs and continue moving into much later years. Hurrah to your mum!

Thank you Georgie and Googie. I always love to see you both together. Its warm and summery here in my little valley In NSW Australia and we are mowing furiously as we have finally had some rain. Waiting for the dahlia's to bloom and starting to enjoy berries and veggies. Looks like it will be a great year for the thornless blackberry and the young apple trees and a pear have fruit on them. Covered with nets to protect them from the Bower birds and cockatoos. Everything fenced to protect from kangaroos and rabbits! The local peach orchards are awash with peaches and nectarines and will soon have veggies for sale too. The closest thing we have to hedge hogs are our resident echidnas who happily scuffle around searching for ants. Very special to see them when they venture out. Happy Christmas to you both.
