Mecca quartz movements are the bomb. The dial colors are amazing..they have a red and an orange. The date complication is so unique and seals the deal. Ok lack of minute markers...so what? If you need time that precise then go digital. For $321 this watch is great. Think of it as as a piece of art!

Great review Jory. I will look at this watch. FINALLY, a 12 hour totalizer. Ask ANY pilot……24 hour clock……? I’m not cave diving or planning trips to outer space. But oh how nice….engine start was 3.5 hours ago…..I have 3 minutes to live…….😜

Some other brands would have a better movement but charge $1000 for the same finishing and dial just because it said swiss made. So for this price its my cup of tea. Pointer dates are a plus in my book.

I’m surprised you didn’t raise the lack of minute markers?! This is a show stopper for me. I like to be able to tell the time…. Crazy I know but I’m serious about time keeping 😄😉

They revised it to minute markings for the finalised model after backer feedback. Thankfully as the dial was busy enough without the seconds markers.

Personally, this watch reminds me far more of various Seiko chronographs, than anything Tudor has sold. The 6138-003X: KAKUME comes to mind, even though it lacks the 3rd register.

Agree with others that it is derivative of Straton's offerings with those subdials. It is an interesting piece but I think I'd go for a Dan Henry instead. But thanks Jory!

Most of your cons aren't that bad but one thing I noticed is the sloppy dial printing, the markers and some of the numbers printing were very poor.
