Great to hear that Shane! I think that's an unbeatable price! I got a very similar offer as you can see, perhaps a tad cheaper with a few more accessories in it. But I got really really lucky. When the DJI Osmo Action 2 comes out, prices will significantly drop again I'm sure. This camera is a war machine. I'd still consider it even if the 2nd iteration comes out. Great versatile, just so good.

Gopro 9 costs more, generates corrupt files sometimes, you have popping audio problems and many other bugs. You can check forums online, there are so many unhappy people! And gopro isn't even replying to their customers! I'd say go DJI, if gopro starts caring about their customers then you may go back. It's also half the price!

impressive, what do you think personally if you compare to a mirrorless camera for example, i think its hard to appreciate a huge difference once published to youtube

Although compression happens, a mirrorless is simply much better in terms of sharpness and detail retention. But it just requires so much more commitment for weight and size to carry around, I sometimes think it's not worth it. That's why I'm totally DJI now. I use the GH5 from time to time, mainly for reviews, not for traveling anymore. Not worth it since the DJI osmo action does such a good job.

Hey bud, was this video also shot with a gimbal + Rock steady? 4k 60 w/ dcinelike and dewarp? If so, which gimbal are you using exactly and did you need any plate adaptor for the osmo action to attach? sorry for all the questions! Great content and thinking of purchasing this over the hero 9

Nono this was without a Gimbal. All handheld. Insane right?! I use the zhiyun smooth q, upgrading to smooth q3 soon for mobile/action camera. I recently did a video of the osmo without rocksteady on, HDR on and with a Gimbal. Go have a look, results are outstanding! No color correction or grading necessary!

Yes that's correct! Minimal grading though. It's all quite natural. I tried to reach the maximum dynamic range possible by using the Luma scope

I used Adobe premiere pro. It has been slightly color graded in terms of exposure (contrast, blacks and whites, slightly highlights and shadows). Nothing else. Easy, minimalistic editing on this video

Yes I use a set of filters 8/16/32/64 nd cpl filters. Links are in the description. They work really well and do a fantastic job for colors without correcting/grading

Yes, I recommend always using ISO 100 setting and using nd/cpl filters 4/8/16/32/64/1000 for cinematic look, more vivid colors and highest picture quality. The Nd1000 is insane! Yes she is Zdenka! I always lock exposure with fixed ISO and shutterspeed. I use cpl/nd filters according to the scene's situation. I use a Gimbal yes, but not on this video. It's all hand held. Let us know your name! Zdenka is curious! ☺️

Yes I would recommend buying 8/16/32 cpl filters. If you're planning on doing panorama stitching in Adobe, I recommend nd filters. 64 is important for snow and sand, or for long exposure photography/Timelapse (best is Nd1000, I would always recommend an nd1000)
