Thanks for posting... what a tremendous piece of history... RIP for them both. Great guitarists, Buddies both, and two outstanding characters who are remembered fondly by anyone who knew them or even heard them at a distance.🏆🏆

I thoroughly enjoyed this! I became aware of and a big fan of Buster B Jones just a couple years before his untimely death. I have several of his teaching videos and they are excellent. When Thom Bresh hired Buster an "A Team" was indeed born. Not only could these guys play amazingly well, they were also were great entertainers! RIP Buster. Also, Gordon Close is an excellent guitarist in his own right. His highly unusual flat pick and pinky picking style is very clean and precise producing a polished Travis style. I only wish I could have been in the audience during this taping. Does anyone know where this was recorded?

Anyone know what kind of guitar that is

If you're referencing Buster B's guitar , it's a Godin grand concert S.A. (full classical scale length/width + 13 pin output for use with guitar synthesizers). Its been customized with inlay also.

It’s called “Just Us”. Said to be titled for two of his favorite guitars, a couple of Godin Multiac nylon strings he called Merle & Pearl.
