A F540 takes a clip on style hoop. These are available on our website and should clip on the same as the standard hoop that comes with your machine.

How would you suggest I mark my centres on my hooping stations. Also I have a 5x7 magnetic hoop, again, how do I know the centre point b

@eileendupreez4268 The reason there is no centre point template is due to the magnets not having a set position on the frame. What you can do is create a basic template to give you and estimate by putting the hoop on the machine, go to the embroidery screen, put a piece of paper under the hoop, trace the outline and then do a needle drop to put a centrepoint hole in the paper. This will give you a guesstimate to help with placement.

Hi Towana, yes it is expensive compared to the more basic hoops but not so bad compared to many other Magnetic hoops. But do remember that is Australian Dollars including tax so depending on where you live the price may seem very different - for example that is about the same as USD250 as at May 2022

How do you accurately position you material in these hoops. Is there a grid-insert like there is with the 'normal' Brother press-in hooping system?

@johnb6749 Best way is to find your centre point of you design and when you go into embroidery on your machine, your needle will be the centre point of the design. You can do a trace around which will help you determine the position.
