Yuhei Yamamoto, the man behind Tailor CAID, has been cutting garments for nearly thirty years now. His passion for clothing has led him down the paths of many different tailoring styles and he has gained an extremely broad understanding of the tailored clothing world as a result. While his first love is American Ivy style clothing, he is capable of many other styles as well. In this video we have a look at his American garments and finishing with the Model 99, The Armoury's exclusive collaboration model.

60's 2 Button Brooks Brothers, just what JFK wore. Have you considered having proper brace buttons sewn inside your trousers? No offence but I've always thought the clip on ones never look quite right.

A lovely video as always! May I ask why you did choose clip-on suspenders rather than buttoned ones? Personally, I exclusively wear suspenders when wearing dress shirts (despite being 27 years young 😅) but I thought buttoned suspenders are the more elaborate ones. Thank you!

I use buttoned ones only partly because I find them safer than the clip-ons. Arguably more elegant too since they sit hidden inside the waistband.

Tailor Caid only travels to our NYC locations for now. We do however offer the model 99 on special requests at our HK stores!

I love the jackets and you look great but you would look so much better if your paints had buttons instead of clip on braces.

Buttons tend to warp the waistband over time. Clips are safer for more luxurious fabrics
