So the deal with creeping in this game is that they get more mobs and more dangerous as they respawn from you killing them which also gives you more resources. Which is a big difference from WC3 as well. So you still should and can manage them and when it comes to creep camps with say infernals they are even more important because of infest giving you free units. So its a bit more useful than credit given. I really hope the best for this game,

it's also important to note that there are plants on the map you can attack that drops healing leaves. it makes early game harass way more annoying if you take advantage of them. they're located near the t intersection in the middle, and the vision creeps

the vans to guard is only for coop mode. Grubby is playing 1vs1 mode against another player

Funny, because he used the scout. You could know he had to fast upgrade command center and also couldn’t bob overcharge so that he could use the scout, which means he couldn’t speed up his macro at all

why u think its an upgrade? it copies sc2 but offers less overall. It would take a few years just to match what they are trying to copy.

The thing with this game is everything just seems the same as the games it drew inspiration from without being better. Even just visually its extremely bland and uninteresting. I know its not released yet but the models/environment/animations are so boring. Like just look at the main base, what is cool or exciting about that? Compare it to even the Castle from WC3 and it just seems like one of so many half efforts.

As a casual RTS player this game has zero appeal to me. I'm sure it will be fun for people like you to figure it all out, but I can't imagine it gaining a large playerbase with various skill levels and interests. I'm glad you're having fun with it and maybe I'll be wrong in the future as the game is developed, but right now Stormgate doesn't feel like a game to me. It feels like an extremely well build, efficient machine with a skin thrown on top of it to make it look like a video game.

@@FollowGrubbyI think the selling point is A) their plan to make systems which onboard non RTS players more (whether they will be successful is something that will have to be seen over the years. B) it’s a game that will be supported by the company that owns it and it will get new content over the years

This games has no purpose. Whats the best case scenario? They spend a few years improving it to end up with a sc2 like game with a few twists and w3 graphics. Not looking promising. Its copies sc2 while offering less in every single aspect. Waste of potential, they should have gone a completely different approach, with another flavor or at least with some wild ideias.

Personally, I can't ever see myself playing SC2 again, but I would play this because there is an emphasis on less stressful and more casual play. If they pull it off, I think that's a big draw. However, they have to walk that line of being appealing to hard-core RTS players and more casual players, which can be hard to do. I don't think SC2 did that particularly well

I can't care about this game... I just can't. It looks, feels, and play just like sc2. The thing about sc2 is that their art style is really not a selling point. It is kinda boring honestly. Sc2 selling point is its gameplay & competitiveness. So, if you give me a sc2 with the same BORING art style, but inferior gameplay ans competitiveness, there is no reason for me to care.

Sad that StormGate went with this mech and robots path like StarCraft instead of monsters and magic same as Warcraft3. And why everything is so fast and speedy, it's like StarCraft, nobody likes that game anymore
