I love how WC2 isnt so magic reliant. In WC3 the screen is cluttered with magic/buffs vfx.

heal and blood lust are a big deal imo, losing units to poly permanently is pretty unsettling too. even tho according to the spell page it has a harder time landing on higher hit point units? I just started playing a month ago..

I had a battle today 1v1 i was 11, enemy was s9. He towered me pretty quick. I defended with one tower and was lucky to be far that I wasn't towered bugged. I started making raxes in the back and upgrading to castle. I had lust while enemy was still with grunts. He just made a bunch of towers outside 11 which I cleared pretty easy with 9 lusted ogres. I think he thought he had me. He could not see that I had 3 raxes and that I castled. I had left my scouting peon inside 9 and made a rax there and made grunts to wait for him to make a hall at 9, which he did. Then I attacked him and that was gg.

You should play War2USA server since we play lotttts of different maps, not just getting stuck on one pud that everyone happens to whine about being so unbalanced but we all still sorta love anyway. 😆

ive plated all warcraft games, neved expected blizzard to remaster w3 when w2 and w1 were right there for the taking. true gems of the rts genre, a missed opportunity right there

Might be a dumb question but i am curious, why do Warcraft 2 offer over WC3 and SCBW/SC2? If you want a RTS without the heroes of WC3, i assume SC2 and BW are far better games compentive than WC2. So i am just wondering what WC2 does since there are a small but very active playerbase that sticks to WC2.

Not a dumb question :) When you love something, you can't help it. I love w2 and that's all there is to it hah. The people are fun and we've been playing together for years and have a community that's familiar so that is big too.

@@stevenrosscarpenter Mages are better than DKs since polymorph is op and has greater range than death coil. Knights may be inferior to ogres but exorcism still melts dks.

Yeah i usually still to 9-15 orge blood lusted with maybe 1 DK for decay sneak attacks

The 1st guy has great tips and explains things well. The 2nd guy who cuts in rarely, just sounds like he wants to be right, but his logic sucks. Any relevant RTS pro at any other game could watch this and I feel 99% would agree, the 1st dude knows what he is sayin, 2nd guy just sounds like he is mad and dumb lol
