A Closer Look at Tyler Smith's Dominant Performance at Left Tackle! 🔥

My thing is this: Tyler Smith has already proven that he can hold his own with the left side, more specifically at left tackle now that Tyron Smith is gone. That being said I do think Tyler Guyton is an incredible talent, but he’s more suitable on the right side of the offensive line compared to the left side. In my opinion, once Guyton returns, he needs to replace Terrence Steele starting right tackle, let Smith bump out to left tackle and have TJ Bass take over as the starting left guard

I don't have enough confidence in Guyton to anchor either side, mainly because I don't think he has enough confidence in himself just yet. I believe moving him to a slightly less demanding position such as guard will help him build the confidence he needs to succeed. I suspect when that happens some time this season, Guyton will become a certified knock-you-on-your-ass guard, and we can leave him in that position.

Great video JC! I agree, Tyler Smith is a left tackle. I have huge hopes for Tyler Guyton but the one thing I see with him is he needs to get stronger. He still has a young man frame. Tyler Smith just every time I see him I’m thinking it’s Eric Williams all over again. Dude just wrecks people. I definitely think a slide to right tackle for TG and then maybe bring Steele inside at left guard and that is one awesome offensive line. As for Tolbert’s injury after the game Tyler Smith who I believe to be the future spokesman for the Cowboys said “ Dude sprained his nuts”.😂😂😂

If Smith was as good as you think he is, we wouldn't of needed to draft Guyton at LT. Smith is better at the guard position and Guyton is our now and future LT. As a rookie, Guyton just need reps while Smith has been with the Cowboys for 2 seasons before this one and couldn't win the LT job from our aging Tyron Smith. We expected to have some growing pains with Guyton starting his rookie year and he has played well for the most part. I think Guyton will be much better around game 10 or 11 of the season.

Yeah, I thought they drafted Tyler Smith to be the next LT, he would start at LG and when Tyron moved on Tyler would move in to the LT. They should have drafted a LG instead of Guyton, moved Tyler Smith out and they'd be set. I said before this season started the best LT on this team is playing LG, and that seems to be the case. Now maybe Guyton can be better then Steele at RT, god knows he cant be worse but he just isnt getting it done at LT. Now Dallas will have to go and get some guards, as Martin is probably not playing more than another 2yrs, and Smith moving outside creates a hole at LG, unless Bass can step up.
