I agree. Tyler is indeed an all-pro guard and he's currently the best tackle we have on the team surprisingly 😅 because Steele is a liability. Tyler I would say currently is just a good/solid tackle when playing there with the ability to maul but he could be a very good tackle pro bowl level if they let him stay there versus going back and forth. I think Guyton is more suited for RT where he played at in college. He's currently not strong enough and his techniques are not consistent enough to be on that left side right now. I would keep Tyler at tackle and Bass at guard of it was my call and let Guyton be your swing tackle working consistently until its time to take over at RT.

I hate the fact that mike mccarthys scheme doesn't utilize the passing game with our running backs at all. that also helps the offensive line out and puts more pressure on the defense to play less aggressive knowing that the running back is also a threat as an option. I think we utilize our running backs in screens or passes for check downs the least in the league, but it would also always give dak that safety valve if the line were to have an issue. the game against the steelers was mccarthys best game calling for us, but I still believe we need better less predictable schemes, and we need to utilize the rb in the game more with passing/running.

Man if Rico follows Leapke he scores 100 and absolutely our o line played the best game so far yeah we had some mistakes but we ran the ball I know we got to be over four yards a carry and all of our receivers made plays funny how that worked running and passing against a very good defense thanks for sharing

Now if I was going to set the oline it would be LT Smith LG Cooper C Hoffman RG Martin RT Steele vs Guyton may the best man win. This was before the season started, it was STUPID to move Guyton from RT to LT.

(2:30 mark) I think the drifting had more to do with Zack Martin getting pushed into his lap than what was going on with Guyton. (4:16 mark) I don't know why they keep doing this, bringing a WR into the box only brings another defender into the box. It makes no sense and hasn't worked all year and yet we keep doing it. Had Tolbert not brought the tackler into the box that play had a nice size hole on the left side that Dowdle could have hit. Three times they ran that play with Tolbert doing that and I think only once did he even get his hands on a defender.

Dak gets 50% of the blame on the strip sack, for drifting and holding too long. Guyton gets 25%, because although he initially wins against Herbig; stopping his feet and disengaging allows Herbig to out effort him. 15% Falls on Mccarthy/ offensive staff for poor redzone play design/ concepts, with no backside easy release/ disruption of Watt. Steele gets 10% even though he did his job making Watt run the loop; giving up the backside pressure is an automatic minus play.

I was a big on given Terrance Steele time to come back from injury. That said, we may have to look at the line that finished. I think he may be better at RT than what Steele is giving. Tyler should be the “Blind side” tackle. Bass is mauler. Hutton is going to be, but he isn’t there yet. Luepke needs to be in the line up like Mike Alstod. I think he should be RB1 and a 1/2. Bench 42, 15 (?) and bring up FANT as your FB. Fant is 6’2, 240, played TE in college. Block and catch.

Tyler is a stone wall at left tackle. Best 5 should play. When Guyton is ready, he can get back in there. I see Guyton getting worked inside and out against everyone. He consistently has his head over toes. He needs to get stronger so he doesn’t have to worry about getting trucked. I don’t want Guyton to go anywhere but it’s not realistic to think he was a plug and play day 1 starter. Let him develop just like every other Dallas cowboys lineman not named Zack and Tyron.

Imma respectfully disagree. The line looked better when their end (51) went down. Tyler Smith is an all pro guard. You showed Tyler Smith against 51 and he got beat. But you didn't show another highlight of him in the game. The Steelers didn't have a person on the field and we were able to execute. I think we should still keep Tyler Smith at guard and play the rookie and live through the growing pains.

Tyron Smith needed time to adjust when he was drafted (switching from RT to LT), but if you have a player like Tyler Smith who p/u the position as quickly as he did then you can afford to move Tyler Guyton back to his natural position (RT)…
