the Munich Air Crash killed 7 players and another 3 or 4 never played again - including the stars of the team in Duncan Edwards, Eddie Coleman and Tommy Taylor... the average age of the team was something like 22/23 in an era when most top teams would have an average close to 30. to be honest, it is THE basis of Man Utd's fame... long before Sir Alex arrived.1956 but Chelsea (english champions) declined the invitation on the instruction of the english FA who stupidly did not support it. It was won by Real Madrid (their first of 5 consecutive titles). The following year Matt Busby ignored the FA and accepted the invitation - something that was news around europe and a big deal at the time. Man Utd got to the semi final but were beaten by a Real Madrid full of the galacticos of the day (Kopa, Gento, Di Stefano etc.) but the Utd team was very young - several were still teenagers - and so they were the team most neutrals wanted to see do well, SO when that team was destroyed in the Munich Crash it was front page news all over europe and cemented the fame of Man Utd with a collective sympathy that meant that a lot of people began to support them around the UK and europe. Busby built a new team and won the European Cup a decade later (the first english team to do so - with the Holy Trinity of Dennis Law, Bobby Charlton & George Best) and that further cemented the Club Legend around Europe .. so when Man Utd dominated the early PL the vast international and national support was already there and helped accelerate the commercial growth of the club dirven by the growth of the PL. And that's why the Glazers were able to do a leveraged buyout and drain the club without bankrupting it. Your Video is great, but unless you know the above as well, you don't fully understand Manchester United.

Everyone does the 'big clubs' so I think you should do some of the mid-table or lesser known/down on their luck teams, Everton has an interesting history with the 'split' that formed Liverpool, Forest being two time european champions, or even Aston Villa, starting out as a cricket club and also a former european champion.

when talking about the rest of the clubs you should spend a few mins on the great managers/teams of the pre Premier League decades. You can't understand Liverpool without knowing about Shankly & Paisley, you can't understand Arsenal without knowing about their 1930's, you can't understand Man City unless you know about Joe Mercer & Malcolm Allison or Spurs with Arthur Rowe & Bill Nicholson... and you definitely can't discuss Nottingham Forest without talking about Brian Clough!
