I want to point out that most of it isn't even that state of the art! Really shows what many people, myself included, have been attempting to tell people for years - you don't need the highest-end hardware on the market unless you're use-case calls for it. His mouse and keyboard might be considered a tiny bit "overdone", but really they're older models and more of a personal feel, and it's nice to have the macros. He seems to have things based on his job and how he uses stuff, while keeping things nice.

Awesome setup! I recently upgraded to massdrop 6xx headphones and they are incredible. They’re the exact same as the sennheiser hd650s, but only $200 instead of $600. Massdrop got together with sennheiser and replaced parts that don’t affect audio to make the price much cheaper. 10/10 would recommend

@ForrestKnight, I have the same pair of headphones. I've owned 2 pairs. Those damaged/worn ear pads are easy to replace. They can be pulled off easily. They aren't glued on. You can buy replacements from amazon. There are many options, different sizes, materials, etc. Each option will affect the sound profile differently. During the summer, when it's hot, i recommend using a cloth based option, they breath better and wont overheat your ears, they are also comfy-er. The downside is they don't hold in the sound as well. Leather options like what you have now, i use for the rest of the year. No need to buy a new pair unless they actually break, like my first pair did.

I love this video, I always feel crummy for not having the latest tech but my stuff works, I love the fact youre the same. Can't wait for keyboard video, I need to get two, I like the feel of laptop keys but then do I want a trackpad, I also like to work in the dark but want it to light up etc... be great to see where you go with it.

Honestly, your set up is clean. Only thing that could use updates would be your keyboard-- which you did recently. Other than that, you've got a quality workstation. Btw, your desktop set up is A++. The graphics card alone puts it on a different playing field than 99.99% of rigs. If you haven't already, I'd definitely buy a top notch, silent water cooler because it will cool better and allow better airflow and have more of the hot air to exit cleanly instead of the heatsink fan distributing it throughout your case-- this also keeps more dust out. But goddang it, man, that graphics card is to die for!

The AR87 Keyboard is very nice. I have one. Hopefully you weren't sent the model with Blue switches. They are loud and clicky. Other switch options are very nice. You will need a wrist rest with it though! Oh and you probably won't be moving it around much.... Its a tank. :P

You should remove the left speaker and never have anything that has magnet in it near HDDs, especially mechanical ones, the impact will only show over time, and it's not good. Apart from that, nice setup, I have the same gaming monitor :)
