It's a cold and beautiful polar night winter here on Svalbard! Spend a relaxing day with me in our cabin, reading in front of the fire, filling up the firewood, going on a walk in the crips arctic air, underneath a sky full of northern lights ✨ Sometimes we just need a moment of calm in our lives, so I thought I would share a day of the peaceful Svalbard life with you 🫶🏻

I think I prefer the Polar night days because they are so cosy. And it's only 3 months or so and SO dark you feel asleep just watching it! It's like time off from real life... a little! I would like to see how somebody with a regular job like a store manager or a barista handles a normal week day when it's night time ALL day long! I can't wait for your first Sunlight video!

I want to thank you (all 3 of you) for sharing your lives on Svalbard with me, and you will never fully understand how much it means to me! I had to move back to Greenville, Michigan in 2014 and though it is an hour from my old house in Grant, it has been rather hard at times. My house in Grant was where I could see the Aurora’s and stars and the Milky Way! I had 5 acres of land, and no trees up near the house. Now, living in an apartment I am lucky if I see any stars!
