Those energy drinks are so bad for your heart Cecilia ❤️ They truly give people heart attacks, please think seriously about drinking them. Your choice, i know, but armed with the knowledge that they could cause a heart attack or stroke at such a young age , I hope you will seriously consider the evil effects on your body sweet young lady. 🇦🇺✝️🤗💞🙏👍👌✌️👊👏

I adore getting cosy ready for our Swiss Winter, my favourite time of the year. Furry pillows, cosy blankets, twinkling lights, candles, hot chocolate, soups with crusty bread rolls, cheese fondu, the chilly air kissing my cheeks when I walk the dog, the calmness and quietness which takes over my small village. ⛄🌨❄🐕

I’ve been alone for all 46 years of my life and I love it for all the reasons you’ve mentioned. I’ve lived overseas, traveled around the world, bought a 5th wheel and drove it from TX to PEI in Canada, picked up and moved…and the list continues. Sure there’s moments I think, might be nice to travel this road with someone but overall I love my lifestyle and my aloneness. Granted I am 95% introvert so the 5% extrovert doesn’t speak up often. 😂🤣. Y’all’s cabin looked so cozy and I love the sight of snow as the promise winter is coming!

I’m 43 and have been single for the past 10 years. Quite frankly I don’t think I can picture a life in a relationship with someone who doesn’t also value alone time and time apart as I too enjoy time to myself and value my independence and freedom. I completely understand that mentality! We’re just a certain loner breed of people and the people we choose to let in must be something special 😉

I was in several relationships when I was younger and they were nice but I've been single for over 20 years and I love it. The freedom is part of it because I can do what I want when I want. However, I think the alone time is more important to me. I enjoy spending time with other people but I also enjoy spending a lot of time alone. I wouldn't get enough alone time if I was in a relationship, so I'm happy not being in one.

I've had free time to myself for the very first time in about 10 year's, my oldest started school right when my second was born and of course then I was home with him until he started school. I do enjoy the hour I set aside for myself after Ive accomplished all that needs doing in a house hold. I am learning the value of slowing down. Not every hour needs to be filled with stress, Even though that is how the world has made it. It's ok to not be busy and stressed. Life is not meant to work yourself tired and then die. Your videos are very calming.

I am glad I am not the only person that really just likes being alone. I can be alone for a long time. Living together with my boyfriend, 2 cats and 2 bunnies. If he is gone with friends, I cozy up. I just thought about the fact that I did not see 1 single friend all summer and I am really chill and relaxed. It drains me to have appointments next to my job. I work in the city, and I am so glad when I ride my bike after work and getting closer to home, the nature around our house. Sometimes I think something is wrong with me 🦧 but I am doing much better having much me time. Currently on vacation in the Dolomites. Lots of nature and I am bummed to go back home. Other than missing my sweet animals at home, nothing is calling me to go back to the busy times at home. Nature is the best medicine.

It's never an insult to the people you love, but there are those of us that enjoy the moments alone. Enjoy the quiet and the independence and the freedom to do things at your own pace. To have meals at whatever time or portion that appeals to you, to sleep in however long on days off when you want to. I love the people in my life but I'm not afraid of being in my own company. It doesn't mean I don't want them around, I love their company and the lovely chaos it brings, it just means that I'm not scared of the quiet and I find it a wonderful time to recharge.

I kind of skipped your content during the summer cause I need some change from time to time, same with long series, I can't watch more than 3 seasons, cause I need a change of scenery then. But I always enjoy coming back after some time and catch on what I missed. I feel like especially during fall and winter time I enjoy ur more calm and gentle approach to life and your video style. Ure getting me ready for this dark and calm timer. Sadly, winter is kind of the most stressful time in school and jobs I feel. Especially because this season is so hard for the mental health for many of us, so everything feels harder for our mind and body. But ur content relaxes me and shows me the romantic side of living through winter times. ❤ I'm here since 3 years I guess. And I'm always coming back haha.

Cecilia, I'm old enough to be your grandma, but can relate to everything you portray in this video. I look forward to each new video every Sunday. I'm half Norwegian, and just returned from a weekend meeting a first cousin for the first time. She's also Norwegian. Our connection was fantastic! I told her about your videos and the beauty of Norway and Svalbard. We are both from the US. We'd love to see that part of the world! I'm getting a little off track. I've been on my own with my son for the past 15 years, and by myself for the last 9 years, when he graduated from high school, and I love living alone! I value my alone time and never feel lonely. If I feel a twinge of loneliness, I can always call a friend, play games on the computer or listen to music. I completely understand about not having to worry about another person's needs. Don't ever feel guilty for that feeling. You are so lucky you've discovered the secret at a young age. I truly hope to be able to come to Svalbard one day with my newly discovered cousin and look you up. I love the life you're living! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us!

My children flew the nest yesterday to go onto uni (twins) the silence is already deafening and I hate that this is what i need to get used too, as I was a single mum. Most of their life I'm so used to hectic. Thank you for showing me how lovely being alone can be. This evening I am going to cook myself a nice dinner, pamper myself and drink a nice tea and get ready for work tmrw. Have a blessed week all. Xx

Such a huge difference btw being alone and being lonely. I prefer being alone but am never lonely. Not everyone gets it, but you do! Lovely video. Thank you! 💃💐

Yay! Return of nighttime 😂 Absolutely doesn’t sound bad. Everyone needs some alone time. It’s very healthy to have time away from one’s partner. Also it’s really healthy not to feel you need someone to “complete” you. Yes it’s wonderful to have a partner but you shouldn’t feel you need someone to be happy. It’s wonderful to be comfortable with yourself to be ok being alone 😊 Besides you got a very happy smiling doggo with you 😆 I’m looking forward to polar night! Absolutely by far my favorite videos of yours are polar night 😁 So cozy! Love cold, snow and the darkness ❤

I was single into my 30's. Had kids mid 30's and haven't had much alone time since. Its an amazing feeling not to have to worry about someone else and I miss that freedom of mind and space. Enjoy your alone time.

As someone who was single and on my own for most of my life (I'm approaching 40), your sentiment rings so true. I'm in a stable and healthy relationship with young children. I yearn for that feeling again but don't want to wish away these amazing years.

I so get what you say about being single! It's brilliant in the sense that you can make decisions and change your life just like that, without having to consider anyone else.

❤ I am 100% and then some the exact same about being at complete peace being alone. I love silent moments in this life. You can hear so much while being silent. I have so many thoughts throughout one day that getting to truly hear those without interruption is something I cherish. I love humans also very much hahaha so finding that perfect balance is something I work on to one day have mastered 😉. I have been enjoying your videos for long time now. I can't wait for the winter. I really enjoyed the outside footage you captured in this video with all the beautiful rain. Sending hellos from Wasilla Alaska, Tschandra

Thank you for another lovely day-in-your-life video, Cecelia. No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to have a few days where you only have to think of yourself. When your dear Christoffer comes home, you will be happy to be together again because this time away gave you some needed time for reflection and relaxation.

Totally understand the desire for alone time and appreciating it. I think everyone needs some alone time now and again, and it can be hard when you live with other people to really get that. I love my husband dearly, but I also really look forward to the rare time when I get the house to myself, if even for a few hours!
