I read meditation methods from Asian countries such as walking meditation, washing dishes meditation, chating meditation, mindfulness preparing or sorting items meditation....etc. I usually do the walking meditation, and I experimented with the washing dishes meditation which was quite peaceful and enjoyable. Interesting experiences in meditation.

For one to transcend or reach meditation takes skill. Understanding how our brains work is the first step. Hopefully I can give a class on meditation live and have people experience it first hand.

You DONT get rid of your thoughts, please don’t do this. Just be AWARE of your thoughts. By being aware, the thought naturally goes away. That’s it.

You're right. I think he phrased it incorrectly and wanted to emphasise importance of being in control and not being controlled by thoughts. Based on my simple approach, you acknowledge the thought, let it go and return to your breath/sound/mantra. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Listen to what he is saying. It works but you obviously haven’t tried or stayed with it long enough. Thoughts come and go you don’t need to be attached to them

Oh! The Ommm is silent. That's great. Because trying that out loud just seemed really distracting.

1.Transcendental meditation is for those who seek relaxation, positive emotions, and cessation of both awareness and focus. you drift off into nothingness. 2.Vipassana (awareness training) meditation is for those who desire to see and perceive and understand the subtle and the unseen gaining higher levels of clairvoyance and deeper perception into all manner of things of the mind. which ever you choose, both have the power to change the trajectory of your state of being, behavior, and thus, your entire future.

I could meditate so much better with about 1 million. I would be the best meditator. No one could meditate better. Yuge.

That is the perfect example of ego in you bro. You need to meditate for real . You can't have the wealth that comes with self realization until you do the work. Stop making excuses

If you know you prayer and can cite it without hesitation, without any stress, without actually having to think about it, with such ease, ... That could in fact work just as well as 'Ommmm'. But 'Ommmm' is much easier, but then again, you don't have to be lazy.
