Something I just noticed at 17:33 since you brought it up, the ship from the new 6969 _is_ there. It’s in the background just behind the mansion, up on the landing platform. Edit: I also just noticed at 17:44 Ninja Brian is also kneeling on what looks to be an engine pod from the ship from the _old_ 6969 video. These callbacks are honestly great once spotted.

Stars spelling out "sex" remind that famous scene from Lion king where presumabely also "sex" was spelled out, but turned out it was SFX from rhe sfx team. The composition is really similar, may it be the refference?

I thought that too...tho I think it was leaves in Lion King, not stars. Regardless, I agree, I think that's probably a reference to that.

17:56 I think Ross was the other person in the crowd. Also, for some reason I didn't give the Dragon Slayer level up a shot when it first came out even though Dragon Slayer is my favorite NSP song and quite possibly one of my favorite songs of all time. However, I ended up watching this reaction to it and I loved not only the song but also your commentary. 👍

Yeah, I noticed Ross on the rewatch! I enjoy Level Up, but I can see how some folks may not vibe with some of the reworked recordings. I know "I Just Wanna Dance" was VERY devisive when the album came out (for the record, my wife LOVES it and laughed her face off at the reveal) and I can see how folks might feel that way here too. That said, glad you found a new appreciation for the song and thanks for checking out my reaction!

Would you consider reacting to some of the Starbomb songs that don't have a video attached? Things like Vegeta's Serenade and This Song Sucks are really good but there isn't a music video to go with them

If I hadn't already heard the songs, maybe. Like, with the music videos, I've heard the song, but it having visuals gives me something to react to. Reacting to a song I've already heard with no visuals kinda doesn't work, especially when doing a "first impression" reaction like this. If it was my first time hearing the song tho, sure. I did that when NSP released just the audio for Mystic Crystal.

as much as i like the new vocal a bit more i do thing the video minda missed the mark, the old video was just fucking funny even if yo utake out the music its just a funny "jhonny bravo" story and the fact that the LI in the og was just done with his shit at the end was jsut gold, this one feels a tad more.. self fantasy in some ways

I'm not a big fan of them re-doing this animated. Mainly because in the original live action video, the "girl" was another KZbinr I was watching, ComicBookGirl19. It was fine as it was. Plus, there's another KZbinr who has covered the "Dragon Dance." This animation negates all of that.
