You missed a bunch of fun references pertaining specifically to Godzilla: "No way your ass-brain is hanging with these monkey bars" - In the Heisei Era movies (80s and 90s), they tried to explain how a creature as big as Godzilla could function by saying he actually had to brains - the second one located where his tail meets his back "You came off the base for Frankenstein first time we made a movie" - the original script for King Kong vs Godzilla was actually Frankenstein vs King Kong, and they replaced Frankenstein pretty late into pre-production. Godzilla even gets revived by lightning in the film. "And I dunked on you like Barkley at the base of Mt. Fuji" - there was a comic where Godzilla fought basketball star Charles Barkley. Yes. It's real. "So they bring a mammal to nurse your films back to health" - not Godzilla related, but: a defining trait of mammals is that they nurse their young. yay, puns! "You weren't even the bombest monster from the sea G" - again, not specifically Godzilla related, but "sea G" sounds like "CG", maybe referencing how both characters (in the movies and this video) are portrayed with CG, despite originally being made practically "This is kid's stuff send in Minilla" - Minilla's Godzilla's son in the 60s movies "I'm an oxygen destroyer, and now you're 0-2!" - The oxygen destroyer was the weapon used to kill Godzilla in the original movie "With the beast the beast from 20,000 fathoms couldn't fathom" - The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms is a Ray Harryhausen movie about a giant lizard wreaking havoc in a city (maybe New York, not sure), and was cited as an inspiration by the people behind the first Godzilla movie "You could come at me with Iron Man and Thor, I'll still destroy ya" - "Dest(o)royah" is the name of one of Godzilla's enemies, who actually killed him off in the final Heisei movie "My voice cuts deep like I'm rubbing on a double bass" - Godzilla's iconic roar was created by rubbing a rubber glove on bass strings - his voice literally sounds like "rubbing on a double bass" "Damn I despise you, you make weak tokusatsu" - you weren't entirely wrong there, but the definition of tokusatsu is much broader. Godzilla is actually considered pretty much the progenitor of the tokusatsu genre, and not just that, but Ultraman, which more or less popularized the transforming hero genre, was created by Eiji Tsuburaya, who also worked on the special effects of the first Godzilla movie, and came up with the idea of suitmation aka simulating a giant monster (or robot, or hero, or alien...) by having an actor in a suit walk through a miniature city "Anyways, that was more disappointing than your anime" - there were two relatively recent anime versions of Godzilla. the first one, a trilogy of movies, was not very well received. unsure about the second one, which was a series. it was just super complicated to follow. and three great lines one after the other you didn't comment on at all: "You're the only Honda vehicle that don't retain no worth" - Ishiiro Honda was the director of the original Godzilla movie - a "Honda vehicle". Honda is also a car brand. "There'll be no victory dance, your G-fans will leave upset" - In "Godzilla vs Monster Zero", Godzilla does a very goofy victory dance on the moon. It enjoys cult status among G fans. Seriously, look it up. It's great. "Cause if you dropkick at me, I'll shove a tree down your neck" - a twofer! So, in "Godzilla vs Megalon", Godzilla does a weird move where he lies horizontally on his tail and then slides into his opponent, dropkicking him. similar to the victory dance, it's an iconic scene for how goofy it is. and in "King Kong vs Godzilla", King Kong rips out a tree and shoves it down Godzilla's throat - another iconic scene. "I'm the Apex great ape, great with the ape ax" - Apex was both the name of the terrorist organisation in the second Godzilla MonsterVerse movie and the evil corporation in the MV's Godzilla vs Kong movie "Like All Monsters Attack, your raps are recycled crap" - the later movies in the 60s and 70s reused a lot of footage from earlier movies, and All Monsters Attack was by far the worst offender. It's generally considered to be the worst Godzilla movie ever made. These guys just really did their homework. As usual, really.

Some references you missed. 20:40 Minilla was Godzilla's son in the Showa era and returned in Final Wars. 25:40 This is a double reference. The first is a Marval comic where Godzilla fight different Marval characters. The second reference is the line "destroy ya" probably references Destoroyah, a monster from the Heisei era. 28:28 Yes, there was a Mechani-Kong. Originating from the Ranking-Bass King Kong show, he was then reimagined in King Kong Escapes, a Toho original King Kong movie. The line "Monkey see me out do you, like I did to Mechani-Kong" refer to how Mechani-Kong has fallen into obscurity and hasn't appear in much media today, while Mecha Godzilla has become part of Toho big five and is much well known. 28:45 When Kong bring up his anime, I think it's referencing to the trilogy of anime films release from 2017-1018. They were Godzilla first official appearance in anime, and they are not like for so any reasons. We sense gotten an anime series which was more liked, but those three films are consider some of the worst the franchise has to offer.

Everyone misses the ass-brain line - it's a reference to the lore that Godzilla and similar kaiju need two brains to operate their massive bulk, and Godzilla's secondary is near his pelvis, where the spine meets it. It's the concept that Pacific Rim's drifting and two-brain kaiju setup was predicated on. Additionally, the Oxygen Destroyer was a weapon used against Godzilla and nearly killed him, and it created Desteroyah, who very nearly or did kill Godzilla outright, and was massively powerful, even moreso than King Ghidorah.

When they have to abruptly change verbal speed or musical speed in relation to the opposite, or when in order to make a 'rhyme' they have to insert one syllable too many to make it work, it is jarring to me and my mind can't help but focus on that hiccup rather than just enjoying the rap. Yes it's always good to have hard-hitting bar burns, but if trying to do that makes everything sound out-of-sync, it doesn't work so well for me.
