Guys, I just wanted to say that I watch you guys’ video every time you release one and I usually don’t comment but I watched this mag draft video yesterday at work. I took it out yesterday and did what you guys suggested got the cadence down and I went out this morning and on my tent cast I caught my PB 8.72. I just got my latest order from you guys and the 6” Magdraft Nude Bass color is so much better than I thought it would be. I fish ponds with only bluegill and baby bass as forage and I think this color will be hot. It’s got a subtle MB Gizzard-type tint that I didn’t expect.

Love it man! I'm going to run mono since the rod I like for big beast hook belly weight big plastics, is a Luxxe Efreet B74-XH and that rod has insane hook-setting power. A little stretch will help mitigate the speed and power of the side sweeps.

I've been purchasing the 6in for the past 5yr to catch monster Snook, Trout and Redfish. I personally prefer the freestyle and the albino color. I like using Spik-it color markers to add different color patterns to the bait. Its the best swimbait I've ever used.

Got the Perfect Pitch paired with Tatula Elite the other day. Can't wait to try it out with the mag on Monday for some bday fishin. I have triggered strikes with the magdraft by ripping it like a fluke from time to time. Not the while retrieve, but 2-3 times depending on the cast distance. Like Jeff said, when that bait washes out a bit, there is just something about that, that drives em nuts!

Are the rods mentioned recommended for the rigged version or both? Would the Perfect Pitch be good for throwing the Sleeper Gill, Dark Sleeper, and smaller (1/4oz) swim jigs as well?

I got a couple for the first time last spring and had absolute 0000000 nothing noddda at all on it the first day and time trying to fish it so I got on my brother Geoff’s KZbin videos and got to work after a couple videos I walked out to the pool and started playing around so I could see exactly what was happening with it and got the speed down I needed and WAM WAM WAM been on ever since so I definitely suggest throwing it in a pool or somewhere with really clear water and but at lest 2-4 hours into it so you have the speed down without even thinking about it or looking at it you can just fill it and know it’s running tru and right

2 questions: First, I have a few Magdrafts that I left out of the packaging before learning I should store them in the clamshell. Is there a way to straighten the tails out on them? Maybe boiling or hot water? Second, are we gonna see the Sleeper Craw next week? 🙃

I've had that happen to a few on mines. What I've done is hang them from their tails with binder clips. Letting gravity and the lures own weight straighten it out.

One complaint I have about the freestyle is that the body tears after a few casts, which makes the hook point slide up and out of the bait. Any tips on controlling that?

Im just getting started in swimbaits. I fish Mo. Ozark lakes. And recently purchased some Burrito baits. I think I'll have more confidence in throwing baits with a shad profile? But I should give the Magdraft a try.

What part of the Ozarks? I'm in Branson. I have a 9lbs 8oz Largemouth on the 8", and a 9lbs 1oz largie on the 6" Freestyle. And dozens and dozens of 3lbs-6lbs class on both sizes over the last few years. The Magdrafts definitely get bit here.

Save yourself 20 bucks a cast and use the storm wild eye swim shad in white. A rubber swim bait should never cost more than 5 bucks.
