She already powercrept by Sucrose from her own niche (anemo driver) before even releasing because of her restricted gameplay and teammates, needs to have constellation to reach/surpass Sucrose, swirl buff < Sucrose's EM buff (300-400 team-wide EM buff yea do the math), longer field-time, etc. in exchange for Bennett-like healing lol. If Mizuki is your definition of being a good character, then your standards are too low lmao. If you like her then good pull her, but ignoring her numerous flaws and acting like she's a really good unit is the very definition of COPING.

@ sure, in my opinion, you can have a critical view on the pros and cons of a characther based on how they work on the meta and explain to the casual players in a way that they can always choose whether is or not worthy to pull, like in this video. At this point, lets be real, genshin is not that hard, you dont need the highest meta characthers to do the endgame content (me not having neuvilette, clorinde, alhaitham, arlecchino, wriothesley), you can always play the game with old units because genshin its not like hsr. With all that said, i just find it verry irritating seeing so many videos talking bad about mizuki even tho you can make her work pretty well, not everyone cares about meta, how you would feel if you really liked a characther but they are consideres bad and every guide video you look it up its just people saying how shit and not worthy to pull for, even tho you just want to learn about their gameplay and build, its annyoing period (english its not my first linguage so excuse me if i wroted anything wrong)

Not being able to normal atk during the dream drifter state feels like such an intentional nerf to make her less appealing. Like they knew people would think "On field swirler, she'll work great with Xingqiu and Yelan!" and then said "Nope. If you want hydro app you'll have to remove Furina from a team where she's probably supporting a much stronger character and use her with Mizuki."

I think hakushin ring will be an amazing option for her on electro related teams + full EM build on viridiscent venerer. As it will bring even more damage buffs on top of her 40% already. Even if the 40% isn't fully met due to it being an ER weapon, the passive will compensate for it (20% of elemental dmg bonus). On a double electro team with particle generation and that extra ER she will likely have perma-ult, which is very comfy. Team options that comes to mind are literally the same you mentioned.

Agree and I was surprised to see Hakushin Ring was just forgotten from this video. It's a really strong weapon but the downside is the low uptime for anyone who can use it but this downside is non-existent for Mizuki since she will always keep the buff active while on field. The weapon has always been very good on electro-charged teams too which also happen to be Mizuki's best teams...

Mizuki's signature is the best for her as a Swirl enabler, and much of her kit requires her to be on field more often. Wandering Evenstar is better for someone who is off-field more, like Citlali. Wandering Evenstar is not stronger than her signature consider the fact she can swirl a lot during her on field rotations.

If standard banner characters were meta relevant then they would eat away the sales of "actual" limited characters. And since she is a standard banner character, her cons are actually obtainable by anyone and she has quite decent cons overall. Even in the worst case scenario she is a healer who can carry the VV set and TTDS, that alone makes her a very useful character for any new player who doesn't have extensive list of characters. She is arguably better general purpose anemo healer than Jean simply because her healing has 15s CD and 60 cost.

I think that since Yelan and Thoma they have not release an off field character that requires basic attacks for their additional attack to work, I feel that Mizuki is hated because she cannot use the same sub DPS as always (it gets a bit tiring to use the same ones as always), maybe Mizuki will gain more value in the future if they continue on this path where off field Sub DPS do not require a basic attack to activate their additional attack, (also a bit of an unpopular opinion but her gameplay feels so good and soothing, i like how they nailed the cloud aspect in that regard).

extending her state doesn't require picking up the snacks. it just requires triggering swirl, which her skill can do because it periodically shoots out anemo attacks. However, you're right in the case that for exploration, you won't be swirling anything without any enemies nearby

yes it'll work. Arlecchino CAN be healed, just that the healing restriction happens only during combat. So she won't get any heals but she will gain any buffs that comes with it.

I really like trolling and playing sus characters, but would Lisa actually work here? I also have Raiden and Kuki but I really want to use someone non-meta and that I don’t use. Is Lisa too weak??

@ I think Furina - Mizuki - Kazuha - Electro is good. Since Mizuki's snacks heal her while she's onfield, a healer is not necessarily needed (tho it may be more comfortable for you). I don't think Lisa would be that good because her only source of off-field electro is her Burst, and as solo electro it will be hard for her to get enough energy for it every time.

If you want an anemo driver that can increase survivability and can utilize NA off-field supports then use Lan Yan, if you want more damage thru EM swirls and use NA off-field supports then sucrose, if you want comfy gameplay with swirl damage then use mizuki, for more raw damage anemo you have 3 options, xiao, wanderer and heizou.

Anemo can't swirl Dendro, so no, Dendro units do nothing with her. She is best for world exploration team with afk damage: Mavuika, Furina + 4th character (Citlali, Raiden, Benny, Fischl etc.)

i wouldn't recommend a normal ATK DPS build on Mizuki because her ATK scalings are very low, but if you are committed to it, I won't stop you :). that builds sounds fine. Kagura's isn't "ideal" since she can't fully stack the special passive, but the crit damage is nice. You can also consider 4PC Marechausse Hunter for the Crit rate if you are playing her with Furina.

Assuming TL10 is in my eyes a bad assumption to make. Most people who build her will either go for TL6 or TL8, and only those who really like her, which will be a small fraction of the player base, will crown her. So next time please challenge your assumptions.

If you are going to use a character, specifically one that scales a lot with their skill, why not get them to the strongest they can be? If you are playing characters with talents at anything below 9 don't bother playing them or upgrade the talents

Personally, I think evaluating a character at close to their best potential is important to see how good a character can be. I know that a lot of TCers will assume TL9 for calcs, avoiding the crown. This I think is more practical while also being close to the character's full potential. TL10 is "close" enough to where TL10 numbers and TL9 numbers isn't going to be the biggest difference and isn't going to change the overall conclusion, which is why I stick to it. I don't mind lowering it to TL9 though.
