I flew YYZ-YYC on a 787-9 (FIN 838) just before Christmas 2021.I found it to be everything you said, though I didn't notice the amenity kit. I could have used it because my bag didn't make the transfer from my YOW-YYZ flight. Fortunately they put it on a later flight and delivered it to me at my sister's place the next morning. The bathroom tour is something I'd expect from Mike Downie of Downie Live. I don't know if he's ever been in AC J Class or on one of their 787s, and I don't know where he's going next, but I know I'll be there with him.

Okay. YOU, I have to be careful of. While watching your presentations I shall not eat, I shall not drink. Your sense of humor is as off-the-wall & hysterical as a similar young man I know that I mentor. The two of you could pass for brothers from a different mother. Yes, I know this was posted almost two years ago, but I just discovered your flight vlogs about a month ago; within minutes of that first video I subscribed immediately (which I hardly do). By the end of that presentation you were on my protection prayer list. I know these videos are a current hobby and I believe your main impact for humanity will be your chosen professional career. That too I shall keep in prayer. Maintain your sense of humor; may you, your family and your friends stay safe, blessed and happy. May you all remain connected & protected through God's love. Amen!

This video is pretty tame and the guy who made it seems like a nice, thoughtful person and someone who would not cause the service staff trouble, even if it seems pretty entitled in general to make a video like this and more-so to mention playing video games on a business trip. In all fairness cabin crew deal with really awful people on a regular basis, and this guy seems pretty nice and like he would not cause trouble. In reality, most cabin crew will have no idea what Fortnite is, probably not notice someone on their computer more than passively, not care one shit about a stupid game, and get on with living their life and doing their real job one second after serving you. So when imagining being flight attendant, you can forget the game, and think of how I will immediately forget writing this review and get on with my life the second I click reply. Thank you to the guy who made the video for a generally good review.

Hmm, are the engines really quieter on 787, a350 and a380? I’ve read that they use the same technology for the cabin as they use for noise cancelling headphones, using microphones and frequencies and stuff so the engines aren’t necessarily quieter but they sound less in the cabin. But maybe some AVgeek in this comment section can straighten that out? Yes, i know about the design of the engines on the 787 to make them quieter with the teeth shape...
@afcgeo8823 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are noticeably quieter to conform with future noise requirements at airports. No, there are no artificial sounds being pumped in. Some Dash-8s do have such a device, which uses frequencies to cancel each other out to a degree, but those are for prop vibrations.
