Γεια σας,με ενδιαφέρει πολύ τα ρήματα με κατάληξη - ώμαι πχ,,ρεωτώμαι,απαρτώμαι,εξαρτώμαι,εγγυώμαι. Αυτά τα ρήματα είναι από τη απομεινάρια του παρελθόντος ,και πόσα ρήμα έχει με αυτές τις καταλήξεις? Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ.

Γεια σου! Υπάρχουν πολύ λίγα ρήματα σε -ώμαι που χρησιμοποιούνται σήμερα στον καθημερινό λόγο. Εκτός από το εξαρτώμαι και το εγγυώμαι που ανέφερα στο βίντεο, τα οποία χρησιμοποιούνται αρκετά συχνά, άλλα παραδείγματα λίγο πιο σπάνια είναι: απατώμαι = to be deceived διασπώμαι = to be dissolved ηττώμαι = to lose (a battle) διερωτώμαι = to wonder

Great video! Although I am a bit confused on the passive verb endings, I thought that the singular third person ending was '-ναι', not '-ται'? As with the verb 'to be'? Or maybe I'm wrong with both

Ευχαριστώ!! You are right the 3rd person of the verb 'είμαι' is 'είναι' ! but the ending that we use for the 3rd person of the passive verbs is 'ται' not 'ναι'! For exaxmple κοιμάμαι (I sleep) -> κοιμάται (he-she-it sleeps) εύχομαι (I wish) -> εύχεται (he-she-it wishes) You can see examples in the video!!

Well not really.. the verb to be is irregular in most languages and greek is not an exception..
