D, I just love hearing your thoughts on movies, especially in parking lots 😊 I just can't find too much excitement about this movie just because Bob Dylan is such an enigma... I feel like his music speaks for itself, and his life story doesn't really need a biopic treatment. But, I'm excited to hear Timmy sing as Dylan

Hey, Shawn! Much appreciated, compadre. I can definitely understand where you're coming from. That's why I figured the perception of this might be very different for fans of his or anyone more familiar with him. But Timothée definitely came through with the vocals! 😉😉😉

Hell Yeah Kool & The Gang's Summer Madness is just timeless. That whole album is one of all time faves. I am not too into Dylan myself but did have a greatest hits many years ago that was...well ..great. LOL I do want to see this one. One of the things I enjoy about bio-pics is the recreation of the times and places. This is an excellent review even though its just off the cuff out of the cinema.

Hey, Terence! Yes, Summer Madness is forever my #1 song. Light of Worlds is legendary as a whole. I definitely agree about the recreation aspect of biopics, and I definitely enjoyed that here. Thanks so much for the support, compadre! 🙏🙏🙏

I don’t go to theaters anymore because I always fall asleep. I will wait for it to come to Netflix.

Understandable! That definitely happens with my mom on occasion, and movie tickets are too expensive to miss out on what you paid for. 😭🙃😅

Ive lost all interest in biopics but youve swayed me on this one. Ill try and catch it. Im also the same with chalamet. For whatever reason.....i just dont get...it. However, I'll go in open. Great review.

At least it wasn’t a COMPLETE snooze fest 😂 At least you enjoyed this one and it was better than some music biopics we’ve been getting as of late! Based on yours and Anthony’s positive reviews, I will probably check this out

Listen, I was anticipating that going in to this one, so I'm glad I was (somewhat) proven wrong. Biopics are a disconnected genre, so it's hard to make something click the right way. But this was a pleasant surprise! 👌👌👌

I understand not connecting even if the performance is amazing. 👍

Yes! It's not a knock to someone's talent, but we all have certain actors or actresses who either resonate with us on a deeper or just don't resonate with us at all.

When it comes to biopic movies, I am skeptical about who they pick for the movie. I feel like it so much they try to cram in a 2-hour movie. It made no sense what they did to Whitney Houston. So they got a woman who from Britian somewhere to play her. They could not find a woman from Philly. I mean that where she was from. As for this movie, this was an easy pass for me. I did not know much about him but they got him looking down alot in the previews like he pretty miserable. You are a better person than me for watching that movie. I hope your day went well.

Agreed! There's never enough time to delve deeper, and everything is way too surface. I didn't even waste my time with Whitney Houston's biopic, especially regarding the casting. I honestly didn't see the point, especially as someone who grew up with Whitney's music and watched so many of her interviews. It was a nice day, and I appreciate you checking out the review! 🙏🙏🙏
