You know, the easiest way to at least resolve the short ammo situation would be to get those DLC proximity mine launchers, launch and deactivate the mines without touching or getting to them, and pick them up and sell them. A full stack goes for 2000 credits, and you could get a lot of ammo and health that way. It's a time waster, but it's a super easy way to get money, at least.

Apparently the wall guardian things never killed you in Dead Space 1 because ya, they're basically unblockable insta-death if you're within 15 feet of one. They're like those zombies in the 2nd half of RE4 where you can shoot the head off, but it gets back up whipping a scythe-like appendage around and can kill you from a distance.

Unpopular opinion, but Dead Space 2 is actually better than Dead Space 1. Admittedly, it's not as intense as Dead Space 1, which is a bit of a drag, but it's a much improved and refined game than the original. Giving Issac a voice, the changes to the weapons, better enemy variety, pretty much everything was improved, and now I'm super hyped that a remake of DS2 might actually happen one day, while also being hyped to play the original remake very soon.

I remember playing this on PC about 6 or 7 years ago. I also played it on Xbox 360. But on PC I played at 4k 60Hz max settings and you think the eye scene was intense at 720p on Xbox 360.... It's even worse on PC at 4k 60Hz max settings 😵‍💫 And yes the PC I had could actually run this game at 4k 60Hz max settings with V-Sync. And that's despite the shitty FX-4300 and halfway decent GTX 1050. The laptop I use now could probably quite easily run multiple 8k sets with the original Dead Space 2. I'm using a gaming laptop until I can get the components to build my top tier PC this next year. My laptop has an i7 10750H, 16GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM, and RTX 2070. Planning on building my PC with at least an i9 12900k if not an i9 13900k, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, at least four 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD's for Mass Storage, a 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD for Windows 11, and an RTX 4090. I plan to spare no expense. And of course I will continue to use my 65" LG CX OLED with it. Only monitors I'd even consider if I decided to use a dedicated monitor is either my old dream monitor from 2003 the Sony Trinitron GDM-FW900 CRT monitor or the new 34" Dell Alienware QD-OLED. As I'm a former plasma owner, and was never truly content with LCD technology, I have 0 interest in an LCD monitor of any kind, especially after finally getting the best TV I've ever owned and it's fully compatible with all 3 VRR formats. In a monitor I'll only look at CRT or OLED. LCD is a no thanks lol
