Really lovely sketches! It is such a great habit to do some sketching daily. I love doing art every day and it really opens your eyes to beauty lol around us. Great tutorial on suggesting the textures and letting a sketch be what it is even if we make mistakes. Really fun to watch. Keep up the good work!

Ohh that’s such a great idea to combine art and pastry! Have you seen the website “They Draw and Cook”? You can Google it. Many illustrators are creating art recipes. I’m sure you will be inspired! 😀 You can draw and paint from memory or imagination too.

Amazing, you make even a used tea bag look interesting! Question: When you say you vary the shades by adding more or less water, is that water that you are mixing into the jpaint on your palette OR you squeeze more or less on the brush while actually applying the paint?

Great Question! ☺️ I do it both ways. But for beginners I'd recommend mixing water into the paint on the palette to dilute. Playing with squeezing and diluting on paper can be somewhat challenging, but you can still give it a try. I guess I will do a tutorial video based on your questions.

What pen do you use for your drawing Becky? I think I would like to try it because it looks longer than the Micron markers. I can't seem to master the brush tips yet. Love your videos. You remind us that there is beauty and creative opportunities all around us.

Thank you for your appreciation! I was using Etchr fine liner pens. I was using a variety of tips: 0.5mm, 0.8mm, and XS and M brush tip ones, all came in one big box of pens.
