I like Timon and Pumba, but I wish the SP would have been like Coco or Tarzan. I'm not a fan of the rock things. I think since it's a short update it's ok. I know we are getting Maleficent and Hades soon and I know that will be amazing!

I had another little look today and I can't find it mentioned either - I must've misremembered! I've never seen rock music or concerts mentioned across any social platform, so I'd love to know where they got the inspo from! Maybe it indeed was that Disney album 🤔

if I recall correctly I believe that Tiana was introduced to DDLV during "Disney princess week." That in conjunction with them promoting the release of Inside out 2, I'm not surprised if the release of a pop punk Disney album is the reason we're getting a theme that doesn't make much sense for this time of year. From a business standpoint I can understand their approach. Especially if it's in their agreement, which I assume it is. As a player though, I cant lie I am a little bummed about not getting a Halloween star path, BUT I think we're severely lacking in the alternative clothes department so this should fill that gap. I'm also a big rock/metal fan so it's exciting for me in that regard! They usually don't show their *best* items in the previews so I still have hope. Either way, I know some people out there are very excited for this this theme so at least their getting something they look forward to! Like you said, everyone deserves something they enjoy in the valley!

I think you're right, Graciela. There does seem to be some intriguing parallels at times, even if it isn't an outward promotion like Inside Out was! I also agree that it's probably contractual or monetary (discount on those licenses). I don't begrudge Gameloft focusing on their bottom line, they are a business after all! I'm also disappointed, but I feel the same that clothes outside the realm of princes and princesses needed a little boost! I really do hope that there are many players out the who love it 🥰

I think there's gonna be controversy either way when it comes to the star path, however as long as they bring Halloween or NBC decor and clothing when Sally comes, at least give us some fall craftables, and give us New Halloween Event Rewards. (For the players who've already played the seasonal events.)

Taking a look at the announcement today, there just seems to be one new item in the Mickey candy bucket. I'm not sure that's helping established players get too excited, but who knows what might come to the Premium Shop this update!

I do like the pyro item shown on the stage, but I am not a fan of the Rock outfits and hair. I agree - I think they are promoting ‘A Whole New Sound’ - New Album of Reimagined Hit Disney Songs" via the game. I am also wondering about the backpack collaboration. As long as we don't have to pay the crazy prices Loungefly charges in the store for them! 🤑💰💸

Unfortunately the hair is definitely not for me! 😆 But I'm happy that rock fans are getting something that they will (hopefully) love! As for the Loungefly collab, I think we may be seeing them in the Premium Shop, ironically, at a premium! Licensed items are usually marked up and like you said, Loungefly loves a high price point! 🤭

I love the concert theme items! They will be so cool to use in dreamsnaps. I am glad there's more unique items coming. I get why people are upset but to expect Halloween star path every year is not realistic. I just hope the Halloween event has more stuff. I think that is where they need to focus new items for holidays and the premium shop. Also most of the world doesn't even celebrate Halloween. It is becoming more popular in some countries though. I just think it would be nice to showcase other things as well. Oh, and Sally is coming after this update so maybe Shes bringing more nightmare before Christmas stuff to the valley as well. Anyways I am excited for the update and see what else is in the star path and Timone and Pumba's friendship rewards.

I'm so happy that you're hyped for the Star Path, Zara! 💜 Some of the items definitely look intriguing and I'm really excited for the pyrotechnic canister! I know what you mean, I mentioned on steam last night that Halloween and autumn are kind of conflated now, so sometimes people say they want more Halloween items when really they just mean fall!
