I certainly need to script when I am doing a workout so that I remember the exercises. I try to record so that I do as little editing as possible.

This is awesome info! Moving the zoom is a tip I learned from a larger youtuber to keep engagement! My strategy is to go in the middle of quantity and quality! Great chat!

There's a mix of planning and non planning when it comes to my videos. It really depends how I'm feeling that week. A lot of the times, sit down video topics require more of a script and other times I just want to vlog something fun and that's totally unplanned. I go the more quality route because I can't do the quantity bit

That’s a good strategy Sam. Most of my content is acting and commentary. I have not done a vlog since the summer and any random videos since November 2020😅😂

Moving forward, I think I'll be doing more planning. A major reason why I wasn't planning my videos before was cause I was so concerned about getting my daily video out there. Though now that I've hit the year mark, I'm going to cut it down to 3 videos a week!

That B-Roll can really take a toll on your editing. For your goals doing B-Roll just wouldn't make sense because of the amount of content you're trying to push out. Your friend is lucky because there's no other person to go to for KZbin advice.

I definitely think finding your own balance between quality and quantity is the best route too. I've seen some amazing growth of other youtubers doing both daily and monthly videos. You think it'll be weird for you once you stopped doing daily videos?
