@@WillvonTagen Two of my favorite channels. I'm glad you guys chatted! I literally just DIYed my own CheesyCam NPF to LP-E6 using a dead Wasabi LP-E6 battery, a cheep NPF charge plate from a dead charger, and a full tube of JB weld simply because Starving Artist doesn't offer their NPF bridge anymore. The only regret is it's not a locking NPF plate. The hack ability of the OG micro is, in my opinion, part of it's appeal. FWIW I'm still on the fence about the new Micro as the zoom demand is so massive despite it fixing my main gripe.

Guys, this was so inspiring ; that's the best combo you could offer us. You are obviously somehow in the same market and having you talk together is priceless and very genuine from both of you. Will, I love your channel and you are a great host (Liked the fact you let your guest talk the time he needed) ; Cole, love the way you look at things and sharing your passion ; both of you have so much knowledge and expertise that it was really a treat to listen to both of you. Great interview. I follow both of you guys. I have two of Altcine expansion packs - one for my BMMCC OG and for the G2. They have resurrected my love for this camera. It is the best Micro Cinema camera on it. I have two old very minimal cages (A Wooden and 8Sinn), with two BM Video Assists, and with the expansion pack, I use a SmallRig VB50 battery - Dummy batter in the OG and locking power to the G2. With my Mieke MFT Cinema lenses - it has become my favorite shooting platform. I still have two BMPCCs that I use also. I have given chasing pixels and concentrated on images that these camera can produce. Hats off to you guys for keeping the flame and love alive for these camera. BTW - Cole has seen the pictures of my portable rigs. He is an inspiration to explore exactly what these camera are capable now. The buttons in his expansion pack make a huge impact and I have added some DIY buttons for the others inspired by him. So thanks for showcasing Altcine.

I just sold my Red and went back to BlackMagic simply for the ease of use, and not having to rig it up. When you’ve done multiple feature films, as a indie filmmaker you want to do less.
