Este jogador e um dos melhores que assisti aqui, nao so pelo talento em campo, mais pela clase do homem. Muito legal saber que ele ti inspirou a ser torcedor do Giants. Brigado por compartilhar 👍

He looks 5 years younger than he did at his announcement presser. Dude was basically a player-manager his whole career, maybe some of the hardest 12 years any player coulda played. Glad to see he's lovin life Edi: Giants PR team y'all are amazing for this. I kinda hope for an inside the clubhouse of Buster Day, but also I somehow feel like it still wouldn't be right to have all the cameras on Buster

My grandparents were long time season ticket holders since the candle stick days and just sold off their seats this year because it was becoming too big of a commitment to pay every year for season tickets. I consider my self extremely lucky being able to grow up going to so many Giant’s games. We went to what feels like hundreds of games over the years and our seats were in the in the very front row behind the Giant’s dugout stairs where buster would walk in and out of every inning. I was so lucky that I got to see so many historical moments in Giant’s history, Giant’s playoff history, and Buster Posey’s career through my childhood into adulthood. I even got the chance to see his first ever game at AT&T back in the day. Buster was always a class act all around, he threw so many balls up to me over the years after an inning would end, and he even pointed and acknowledged me on a fan appreciation day one year and threw me his batting gloves after the game ended. I can without hesitation say that buster is and always will be my favorite baseball player ever (alongside Tim Lincecum) I felt like his demeanor and calmness has always been a golden standard for baseball players to look up to. The Bay won’t feel the same without Buster holding us down behind the plate, but I know we’ll see a lot of him in the future🥲☺️🙏🏼

He was a tremendously consistent player, especially when healthy, but I think its the leadership and calm he brought to the yard each day that I miss most. Plus, it hasn't helped our transition to the next guy when he's been so cold to start the season. I have high hopes for Ricardo Genoves and Bailey though, so hope they are able to contribute here soon, especially Genoves this year

Perfect battery mate. Imagine being a pitcher with Posey at your back, in virtually every game you pitch. You can't calculate the effect of that on our pitchers, including how Posey helped steward rookie pitchers. Rookies, period. On top of that, the best, and most humble, player-manager that every one of his teammates ever had/will ever have -- and from the beginning. At age 22, already a natural born leader -- who came aboard, already a man, fully formed, on and off the field, seasoned beyond men twice his age. And with integrity, up and down the line, without ever making a show of it. He absolutely respects the game, and has from day one; so very few players do these days. On every level, a gold-standard for the ages. A grand slam in every way. For hardcore Giants fans, words pale for the respect and gratitude we hold for this man. What can this Candlestick-bred fan say? On behalf of my big brother and our late, beloved Pa, we thank you, and beyond, Buster. For e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. All the best to you and your family. May your years be many, healthy and full of joy. Truly."

Baseball players like Buster come once in a lifetime not because of his outstanding records, rings, etc but because of the human being that he naturally is. His ability to overcome a serious injury and not only return but come back even better, to his outreach to young kids and families battling cancer to the father he is to his kids. Buster may never read this but hopefully he knows his true impact on people’s lives. Our son had a speech impediment and his first words were Buster Posey…as a diehard Giants fan I was torn to see Buster walk away from the game but as a father I completely respect and understand his decision. I’ve yet to break the news to our son why he won’t see #28 behind home plate anymore but will know exactly what to say when he asks.

Wow! What a great interview Amy G. I have to chuckle looking at Buster. He worked his butt off his entire career. He was my favorite Giant from the time he came up to the bigs until he retired. But I'm 66 and for him to be insanely good looking, sure fire HOFer, coaching his kids and 50X my money and retiring 30 years before me, a tinge of "I wish I was Buster" creeps into my bones. But he earned every bit of it. An insanely good player, insanely good teammate, and insanely good with the fans. Congratulations Buster! I only wish I could be there on Saturday. She's thoughtful in her words, how she speaks them, and is utterly sincere in doing so. She's professional, carries herself with dignity, yet brings a warmth that makes you glad she's one of ours. She's authentic, true to herself. She's one of the guys, but doesn't try to be. And is a refreshingly genuine, feminine presence -- without all that desperate efforting to be "hot."
