I just commented further down before I saw this so I just wanted to say, I'm a 38 year old mum with a disability caused by a condition that badly affects my joints and I don't usually identify so closely with anyone in the communities of the games I enjoy so I've always really appreciated you being such a huge presence on the sub. I love the way you're so helpful and patient with anyone needing help and having now heard this interview, I love your outlook. Although I've only really chatted with you once myself I really appreciate you being there, especially now I know you're going against doctor's orders, but do look after yourself first and foremost.

I hope your health issues don’t take you away from what you love, what we all love! RA is no joke, and I was diagnosed with it two years ago and have been experimenting with so many different drugs, so far Cimzia seems to keep it at bay better than the others I have tried(altho injecting myself monthly sucks :( ) Be well ❤️

@@GamerMom-1969 I'm glad you've found something that's giving you some relief and I hope it stays that way. My grandma had RA and I remember how she suffered. I have hypermobile joint syndrome and fibromyalgia so not a fun mix but it mostly affects the joints in my hips down to my feet except on really bad days so luckily it doesn't affect me using my controller too much unless I'm having a bad flare up. Gaming is an excellent escape! Much love to you and yours 💜

I love GamerMom! As a nearly 40 year old mother who is disabled from a degenerative condition that affects my joints, I really relate to her and I kind of wish we were friends! I've only spoken to her on the sub once or twice but I've seen her comments so many times and the way she deals with people is so kind and helpful and patient and I'm just so glad she's part of the community 💜

Gamermom is into RPG's to, wow! I've also known Techland since Dead Island and they're easily my favourite developer. Gotta say though, she's got at least twice the playtime in Dying Light than me, last I checked I had around 400 hours. I am also a casual gamer, been gaming most of my life and I'm 23 (still quite young lol) PvP ain't my thing either, I like how relatable we are😅 Edit: I did read something about defending outposts in DL2, here's hoping. I have played on Xbox before but the controller doesn't feel user friendly to me. I didn't like having my left thumb stretched out is all...

@@mackzy3964 She seems an OK person but I also wasn't a fan of her posting her personal issues all over the sub....like we are there talking about a video game and she is there asking the DL community for sympathy for internet likes (and techland goodies) kind of pathetic really. As for the sub and discord you/I can just make another account to shitpost it's all anonymous shit, you don't even need to make a burner email. Knowing that it is kind of retarded to ban people over trivial things anyway, as if we wanted to troll the shit out of it we could just create burners every 45 second and shitpost! Idgaf tbh it is just stupid people trying to "own" their little slice of the internet. I just DM people on the sub if they ask a question and I can give them an answer others on the sub cannot. Still I didn't deserve to be banned and before that I was an active and helpful member of the sub.
